Can i install a Geoforce GTX 960 graphics card into my ASUS X540S laptop?
Previous Reply:
No. That model has integrated graphics only. No space to put in a replacement card.
This is somewhat incorrect, you cannot replace a card that already doesn't exist in a laptop, but it is possible to add graphics via an external graphics card provided you have a thunderbolt port.
Updated Answer:
Yes, it is possible to install better graphics to a laptop. The previous answer-er was correct in saying you cannot install a graphics card in your model. But if you had a laptop with a thunderbolt connector, then you could buy a graphics card dock for about $200 USD.
In all, I don't believe you are able to, because you don't have a thunderbolt connector in your laptop model.

The Graphics Card in the Fujitsu Lifebook a512 is not removable or upgradable. If you want to upgrade the Graphics Card, it isn't possible. If you have a faulty Graphics Card, then you will need to have the entire Motherboard replaced.
Yes there is. Just check the amount of RAM you have and buy a RAM stick (that has the same DDR version as your motherboard, you can check by opening up your laptop). Next, open your computer cover on the underside and the mini oblong cards that you see with 4 black chips are the RAM sticks. Simply pull gently on the side prongs and pull the old stick out and place your new RAM stick into that slot.
Make sure the amount of RAM in that slot is higher than what you had before, otherwise it defeats the purpose of buying the RAM in the first place. Also, be very careful as some laptops have their RAM soldered in place, so if you don't see any RAM slots of the sort, it's probably soldered on-board.
With a Radeon HD 7540D, it is unlikely that you will be able to run Battlefield 4. Your CPU would be able to handle it, but that graphics card will bottleneck your processor. You would need to switch graphics cards to play. A good card would be the Radeon HD 6790.

How do you fix video card windows vista?
This could depend on the nature of the problem. Sometimes, a graphics card could be damaged in which case the user will not likely be able to do anything on his or her own to fix it and the unit will likely have to be sent in for repair to the company from which the machine was purchased.
More commonly, however, this problem may be solved with a driver update. I'm unsure of your computer experience, so I will mention that driver is something which lets your computer understand and use things hooked up to it, anything from a printer to a graphics card. From time to time, there are updates for drivers and without the updates they will sometimes not function correctly.
Try this first: go to your Windows 7 Start menu (lower left-hand corner of your screen) and click it.
Right click on "Computer" and when the small menu opens, click "Manage"
When the next screen appears, there should be a menu with small icons on it, and one of them near the bottom says "Device Manager." Select this.
Another list of small icons appears, and one of them says "Display Adapters." Click this, and it will show you whatever your video card is (For example, Intel G33/G31 Express Chipset Family).
It's very likely your machine is using an Intel device, but whatever you DO have will be displayed there.
Assuming it's Intel, intel support/detect will take you to Intel's website where it should be able to automatically detect the driver you need. Try installing the new drivers for your graphics card and see if it affects the problem.
