Yes I believe so. Covermate Food Covers are made through a patent pending process that heat seals an elastic band into the edge a heavy duty sheet of plastic wrap. The product is made in the USA with FDA approved materials. It can be safely washed and reused and is microwave safe. According to the Saran web site, Quick Covers are no longer available, but I have an old of box of Quick Covers and it says that they are Made in China. They look like a hotel shower cap with a strip of elastic sewn to the edge.

The most helpful for those with painful arthritis hands and fingers is the ease of grasping for closure and removal. I believe that Winn-Dixie, Publix and WalMart use telecheck. I know that K-Mart and Walgreens uses certegy. I had a negative experience with Certegy yesterday; however, I called customer-service and they say the problem was remedied and I should be able to write checks today. I will try K-Mart again and see if they corrected the information in their file.
