Additionally, those two drugs can be really addictive, especially roofies. Melatonin is a more practical idea. It is a circadian rhythm sensitive chemical that makes you tired. People who experience jet lag take it to fix the problem. Light sources also affect its production. This is why it can be hard to sleep with the light on. Another drug that might solve your problem is an herb called "valerium root". I do not know much about it, but some people swear by its ability to relax.

Hello! I will answer your question in more detail.

Depending on what kind of hamster you can give your hamster fruit. If you have a dwarf hamster you can only give your hamster fruit once a week because of the natural sugar inside of the fruit. The reason why dwarf hamsters can only have fruit once a week is because they can get diabetes from the natural sugar which can sometimes lead to fatal death for hamsters. Please be careful on the amount of fruit you give your dwarf hamster. For Syrians I'm pretty sure you can give them more fruit more often but I'm not so sure so don't take my word for it.

you can buy syrian hamsters at petco or petsmart for $8 . I just got one a couple days ago on sale. Hurry !

You'll want to change the bedding at least once weekly. If there are places without bedding, you can wipe with a paper towel. I do this daily in a plastic "condo" that is so small, bedding just won't work in there. My hamsters nest in a small plastic dome (it was intended to be the "outhouse" and so I change the bedding there every other day. I have no smell. Good luck!
