You may want to investigate chemical solutions. If some sort of emotional stress keeps you up, this will not help, but some people are just wired wrong. Some people just don't sleep well. A lot of sedatives are dangerous and addictive!!! For example, GHB and Roofies are sedatives. You don't exactly want to knock yourself out like that. Additionally, those two drugs can be really addictive, especially roofies. Melatonin is a more practical idea. It is a circadian rhythm sensitive chemical that makes you tired. People who experience jet lag take it to fix the problem. Light sources also affect its production. This is why it can be hard to sleep with the light on. Another drug that might solve your problem is an herb called "valerium root". I do not know much about it, but some people swear by its ability to relax.

Hello! I will answer your question in more detail.
Depending on what kind of hamster you can give your hamster fruit. If you have a dwarf hamster you can only give your hamster fruit once a week because of the natural sugar inside of the fruit. The reason why dwarf hamsters can only have fruit once a week is because they can get diabetes from the natural sugar which can sometimes lead to fatal death for hamsters. Please be careful on the amount of fruit you give your dwarf hamster. For Syrians I'm pretty sure you can give them more fruit more often but I'm not so sure so don't take my word for it.

How do you make the bad smell of the cage of a hamster go away?
You'll want to change the bedding at least once weekly. If there are places without bedding, you can wipe with a paper towel. I do this daily in a plastic "condo" that is so small, bedding just won't work in there. My hamsters nest in a small plastic dome (it was intended to be the "outhouse" and so I change the bedding there every other day. I have no smell. Good luck!

They do rent the OGOs out as well, however it would be pretty expensive as all their products are commercial quality (ie very professional, strong and well built) and these products are very expensive to create - you are better off visiting an OGO site near you to experience the activity in a safe and controlled environment.

How can you know if a hamster is a male or female?
When you examine the lower belly of the hamster you should be able to identify two openings. The one closest to the tail is the anal opening, and the one higher up is the sexual opening. There will be a greater distance between the two holes if it is a male than there will be if it is a female. Different breeds are slightly different. If it is a male, you may also notice a scent gland higher up on the tummy than the openings, and sometimes even a scrotal bulge near the tail.

I'm not sure what kind of hamster you mean but they all kind of get amused the same. If you don't really want to buy some toys and fun kind of stuff you can easily make something with things around your household- for example... A toilet tube can be fun and amusing for a dwarf hamster, it can hide in it and possibly sleep in it. You can also use an egg carton as a little tunnel kind of thing. I am mainly referring to dwarf hamsters as that is what I know most about but as for Syrian hamsters, maybe it is the same but use bigger things. Hamsters like to dig and search for things, so try and hide some of their food around the cage so they have to search, that might keep them amused. Hope I helped!
How do you tell if your hamster has a tumor in his neck?
if your guinea pig has a tumor it may lose hair and its behaviour may change eg eating habits etc if you suspect a tumor you should properly take it to the vets incase.
the guinea pig may also have a lump. some tumors are cancer and i would recommend that you take it to the vets even if you suspect a tumor.
How do you keep your cat from your hamster?
They probably won't and trying to make them like each other may make matters worse. At best they will tolerate each other, but be aware, the dominate cat may eventually chase the other cat away. This happens a lot.
