When the projection screen is rolling up or down and it's electric, you pause it by using the switch or remote (depending on what you're using).
If you are talking about the image on the projector screen, that's controlled by the player, so to pause what you're seeing, you would put the DVD player (or whatever your source is) in pause-mode.

The way that digital video and audio signals are handled, processed and transmitted allows delays to be added at almost every stage of the signal chain. I got shocked by a search protector which didn't feel good even though im 12 years old. I felt a very bad shock but didnt die even though its only like... 10 minutes after i got shocked.
