Japan is in the East. East=Orient...West=Occident. Westerner=Occidental...Easterner=Oriental Europe=Occident/West Asia=Orient/East

Hemisphere literally means half of a sphere.

It is in the Western and Northern hemisphere

Asia is found in the Eastern Hemisphere

The middle latitudes are characterized by a temperate climate. The most temperate parts of the Middle East are Turkey, northern Iraq, and northern Iran.

Northern hemisphere

The US state of Alabama is located in North America, and is in the Northern Hemisphere (north of the equator), and in the Western Hemisphere (the half of Earth's surface that is up to 180° west of the Prime Meridian.

This can be seen from the geographical coordinates for the state, which is centered at about 33° N latitude and 87° W longitude.

The continent of Europe is about 3.9 million square miles in size. This is the second smallest of the continents on the planet Earth.

It is However now that we are aware of the causes of acid rain we are far more carefull to avoid it and it has become less of an issue

Autumn

Madrid is in two hemispheres.

Because it's north of the equator it's in the Northern Hemisphere.

But Earth is divided in two hemispheres with respect to east and west as well as north and south.

In the case of east and west Madrid is just 4 degrees west of the Prime Meridian so it is in the Western Hemisphere as well.

Its part of the UK so its in the Northern hemisphere

They believe that men traveled across a land bridge.

The entire USA, including all 50 states, is in the western and

northern hemispheres, except for a very tiny bit of Alaska.

And BTW . . . it's "North Dakota".

North Carolina is located in the Northern Hemisphere and the Western Hemisphere (depending on which way you separate the Earth).

It's in California which is north of the Equator and thus in the Northern Hemisphere.

Bucharest (BucureÅŸti in the Romanian language) is in the North hemisphere.

The continent of Europe is located in the Northern Hemisphere. The entire continent is above the equator, which separates the Northern and Southern Hemispheres.

The country of Cuba can be found in the Northern hemisphere. The island can also be found in the Western hemisphere.

The USA is in the Northern and Western hemispheres.

The Mississippi and the Amazon rivers are the two largest and most important rivers in the western hemisphere.
