A waste gate regulates the amount of exhaust gas that spins the internal turbine of a turbocharger based on a predetermined amount of pressure in the system to keep the turbo from continually building boost that is higher than the system can handle. When closed it allows the exhaust to pass over the turbine creating pressure on the cold side of the turbo. With the waste gate open it allows the gas to bypass the turbine stopping pressure buildup.

not sure how old this is but I'll answer it. when ur looking at the back of the car on each side of the back of the rear wheel well you'll find a Phillips head screw holding the bumper on there. then under the car you'll find 2 10mm bolts. ok now the fun part, you have to open the trunk and remove the carpet covering from the back and along the bottom you'll find 4 10mm bolts, one on each side and two sort of in the middle. then you sould be able to wiggle it free, but be warned, its very hard to get it back on once its off.

my 93 del sol si has 4 wheel discs, so a 95 del sol should also. google it and you'll see tips with pictures and step by step instructions, which are the same for all disc brakes.

you can tell if your Honda is an si if it has all wheel disc brakes or if it has a 1.6 sohc with VTEC on it. If you don't know how to identify a VTEC solenoid you can look at the stamp on the engine with the code

If you have a 1996 or 1997 with EH6 in the VIN you're still going to have to look for the engine stamp or a VTEC solenoid. You can easily websearch what and where this is located.

The lighter will no work if the lightbulb in the ash tray is blown. I changed the lightbulb in my del sol, and the lighter started working.

only Honda del sol hoods, everything else is different and wont fit.

To turn on the fog lights on a 2007 CTS you use the turn signal selector. Rotate the outer ring to turn the fog lights on and off.

It depends do you have the S or Si? Si is power steering S is manual

According to my HELMS manual...the spark plug gap is set at 1.1mm or 0.043 inches.

I had this problem recently - I solved it by removing the interior of the car (just the rear plasitcs & speakers) and then unbolting the rear windo assembly - this exposed the area where the plugged drain holes were - after cleaning the gunk out of the drains - I resealed the window assembly in place with some silicone sealant, and replaced the interior plastics - took about 2 hours in my front driveway, working at an unhurried pace. ANOTHER OPTION:

Before you remove the rear window , try first popping out the 'drain plugs' . there 's one on each side underneath the car on the rear portion of the side skirts. You might have to remove a couple 'plastic' screws on your side skirts. The plugs to the drain are covered by the skirts. I was able to remove the 1st (2) plastic screws on each side skirt and feel for a plastic drain plug. I just popped mine out and a bunch of water came out. I just left em out so the water can drain full-time. That emptied out the drain tube which is behind your rear window.

If that doesn't work, THEN , attempt to remove the rear window assembly and that will expose a black drainage tube .

scoot seats forward. remove plastic panelings including the compartments from behind the seats. u really can't miss it from that point. much easier access and much quicker replacement time from there- thank you honda!- than trying to drop the gas tank!

that happens to me ones and that was because the pedal of the brake has a litle rover piece that push a switch, i replace it and that fix the problem!

When looking at the engine from the front of the vehicle, it is located on the right hand side of the engine bay, towards the front of the car.

there are 2 safety latches, one on each side of the roof, just flip those and it lifts right off
