What gas do they use in hospitals for anaesthetics?
Mainly pure oxygen is used, but this is often used in conjunction with nitrous, which has some pain- relieving properties and lowers the amount of actual anasthetic used. The drug that keeps the patient under anasthetic is vaporized into the o2/n2 mixture and therefore is breathed in by the patient.

What could be the consequences of frequent use of antibiotics over a long period time?
Taking antibiotics for colds and other viral illnesses not only won't work, but it also has a dangerous side effect: over time, this practice helps create bacteria that have become more of a challenge to kill. Frequent and inappropriate use of antibiotics selects for strains of bacteria that can resist treatment. This is called bacterial resistance. These resistant bacteria require higher doses of medicine or stronger antibiotics to treat. Doctors have even found bacteria that are resistant to some of the most powerful antibiotics available today. Antibiotic resistance is a widespread problem, and one that the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention calls "one of the world's most pressing public health problems." Bacteria that were once highly responsive to antibiotics have become increasingly resistant. Among those that are becoming harder to treat are pneumococcal infections (which cause pneumonia, ear infections, sinus infections, and meningitis), skin infections, and tuberculosis. How are patients transported within a hospital?
Some types of medical transportation are:
Ambulance: A large conveyance vehicle, usually government owned, though there are private ones, that have a special area for medical equipment and the patient in the back. These are good for short distances usually within the same state.
Fixed Wing Transport: These are planes which have been fitted with the equipment necessary to take care of a patient. Think of it like an air ambulance. These are usually for long distance transports, state to state or country to country for example.
Rotary Wing Transport: This refers to helicopters which have been fitted with the equipment necessary to take care of a patient. These are often called in on bad trauma scenes because they can transport patient over short distances much quick than an ambulance due to being able to avoid traffic. They are limited by their fuel however, so are not ideal for longer transports.
Why does radiation cause hair loss?
The real and short answer... It doesn't! If you are referring to people with cancer losing hair, it is usually the chemotherapy. The radiation treatments often don't even involve x-ray. Has anyone ever met someone who got an xray and lost their hair?
the government made it because during the black death loads of people were dying
Yes. If even he said that you felt pregnant, there is most certainly a chance of being pregnant. Even a doctor administered test is not 100% accurate. Ask for another test. If he declines, have a pregnancy test at another doctor's.

What does it mean if you dream about being in hospital?
The psychologist Sigmund Freud says that one of two things might be true about this kind of dream. First, the dreamer, though he might not know it, actually wants or wanted this person (in the hospital) to die. If a man dreams that his father is in the hospital, this probably goes back to a time in eary childhood when he wanted to kill his father. The same is true for a woman dreaming that her mother is in the hospital. Second, the person in the hospital might actually represent someone else, who the dreamer, whether he knows it or not, wants to kill. The person who the dreamer sees in the hospital and the person who the dreamer wants to kill probably have something in common, whether it is a wart on the nose, an angry personality, or whatever else.

What is the average cost of emergency room visit?
I was in the emergency room last week in the Seattle Area, for severe stabbing pains in my stomach and my body was shaking and wouldn't stop in the middle of the night (my son drove me -vs- 911 as we live about 2miles from the hospital).. here was the cost break down for 6hrs ... $2000 for the ER visit $3500 for the CAT Scan blood tests etc. the total cost from the hospital was $6500 (or over $1000 an hour) from the hospital bill
I don't know if I'll receive other bills from the specific doctors etc.. and to be fair I'm on medicare + a private supplemental insurance so they may reduce the prices above.
if you don't have insurance and if at all possible my advice would be to visit an Immediate care clinc (-vs- emergency room) where a doctor will see you as a walk-in usually if your having pain or something that is urgent but not life threating they will move you to the front of the line and it's much less expensive.. my son was having severe ear pain.. no insurance .. the receptionist say "probably around $350" he was like "I don't care, I'm sick" when into see the doctor had an ear infection mentioned the "no insurance" they dropped the bill to $50 visit gave some free samples of medication.
lastly I would check with your State Govt to see if they offer some type of "Basic health plan" avail at affordable rates for example in WA State if you earn $10k a year, I believe you pay around $50 a month $25k about $100 you can pick one of many private insurance companies (either HMO or prefered provider) the coverage is the same regardless of what you pay... obviously many conditions (proof of income, IRS tax returns citizenship, residence etc) but the basic idea is to get people to pay a reasonable amount per month (say 10% of your income) -vs- no insurance and the state has to pickup the bill for emergency room care for public hospitals.

What is 37.4 degrees Celsius in Fahrenheit?
Start by taking the number in Celsius and multiply it by 9. Then divide that number by 5, and then add 32. This is how you convert Celsius to Fahrenheit or use the equation F = (9/5)C + 32
In this case, the answer is about 99.32 degrees Fahrenheit.
