How did the Hundred Years War contribute to a sense of nationalism in England and France?
After 116 years of fighting, both nations were pretty much done and wanted peace. Both sides "won" (France was able to make the English leave, and the English raided so much bullion that they were fairly rich afterward), and the population took a major turn for the worse (the Black plague also occurred during this time). Some events during the war led to the English Civil wars, also 'unifying' the nations because they became preoccupied with themselves at the moment.
What changes made the fighting in the Hundred Years' War different?
The massive and innovative use of the longbow by the English who developed also a new tactic on the battle fields.

Who won the second Hundred Years War?
Europe, was the one who lost.
Thanks to Joan of ARC!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
'Europe' did not lose the Hundred Years War, as both participating sides were in fact European (including Joan of Arc). The winner of the War was France, who successfully defeated England.
The Hundred Year War ended with the victory of the House of Valois, as supported by the native French and others including Bohemia, Genoa and Scotland, over The House of Plantagenet, as supported primarily by the English, the Holy Roman Empire and several others.
The Plantagenet territories in France reached their peak by 1424, at which time there was significant domestic issues in England surrounding the regency of the child-king Henry VI. But by 1428, the English were rallied again to push for the city of Orleans, despite not having significant numbers to secure the city.
In 1429, Joan of Arc rallied a previously dejected French army and attacked Redoubts, then going on to take numerous English strongholds throughout Loire. This culminated with a significant victory at Patay over the English under the command of the 1st Earl of Shrewsbury and a march to Rheims in the same year.
French progress stalled after the capture and execution of Joan of Arc. But in 1453, the Burgundians under Philip III switched their allegiance to the Valoisians. This, combined with Charles VII's re-organisation of his army, allowed the French to capture numerous towns.
The territorial advances of the French continued rapidly through 1453, until the 1st Earl of Shrewsbury attempted to re-take the town of Gascony and was defeated by Jean Bureau at the Battle of Castillon. This is seen as the final battle of the Hundred Years War.
What are the most important battles in history?
Read JFC Fuller Desicive battles of the Western world
In No order:
-Battle of Waterloo-Napoleon's down fall
-Battle of Marathon-thwarted Persian attempts to conquered Greece and arguably saved democracy
-Athenian Campaign of Sicily-actual battle not important other than causing the downfall of Athens but the effects caused Athens to do 'soul searching' after defeat and led to the rise of philosophy and the "Academy"
- Mohammed's conquest of Mecca-had he been defeated, Islam would likely have died, undoubtedly changing human history
-Battle of Zama-extremely risky move that ensured creation of Roman Empire
-Battle of Tours-halted Muslim advance into Europe and arguably saved Christendom from Muslim subordination
-Battle of Normandy-Arguably most important battle of WW2, had Normandy failed, Hitler could have indefinitely held out (but not defeated) the Russians. After Normandy, German defeat was inevitable.

What color were Joan of Arc's eyes?
Let us be guided by high imagery, She was French, she had dark hair worn inthe rather (Knightly) Pageboy style, and she probably had Blue eyes, msot Johannic artists show her with Blue eyes, she is certainly a popular subject with artists, paritculairtly those from France. There is nujmerous artistic license. Medieval wqarriors sometimes wore their crest or insignia on a sort of vest or almost T-shirt worn over the breastplate, usually some sort of cruciform (Cross My Heart) The Diagonal civil and GSA Flag-salute witht he right hand held diagonally over the heart comes form the medieval times. She may have worn a special and lovely white cape or capelet over all else . this was only worn on formal occasions, and had all the frills of a modern cape stole. (equivalet of a class A Dress uniform) the paintings where she is shown in church (Coronation of Charles following the battle of Rheims) are missing this feature. well Good luck.
No, Joan of Arc died at the age of 19, and was never married.
She didn't marry anyone. Some say she died a virgin, but it is probable that she was raped while she was in prison.
Clarification:
Joan was examined and found to have been a virgin. She wore men's clothing, including boots that laced up to her waist, to prevent possible rapist from raping her. She died a virgin.
No. She was to young to get married
as far as we know she was never married. Hollywood managed to work in Knightly love interests such as a Sir Lionel ( He of the Iron Horse??) kidding aside that was the name of the love-interest character opposite St.Joan in the l9l5 film- Joan, The Woman which starred the opera star Geraldine Farrar. Some said it was closer to Schiller"s version of the tragedy.
