There is a version of Illustrator for Windows, so yes you can use Illustrator on a Windows machine. You can't use the Mac version of it on your PC, so if you bought a copy of Illustrator from eBay and it was the Mac version, you'll need a Mac to run that.

Corel PaintShop Pro X5 Ultimate is currently listed at $55 on most major online retail sites. However depending on the version of Corel PaintShop you wish to purchase this price could either go up or down.

TIFF would be used for high quality photos and print files, while JPEG would be used where file size is an issue, and quality isn't as important. JPEG and TIFF are a couple of the most common examples of lossy and lossless compression, respectively.

File formats that use lossy compression throw away pieces of information as they compress the file for a compact file size. This usually isn't too much of an issue except when compression is set high, or a file is saved multiple times in a lossy format.

File formats that use lossless compression manage to keep every bit of information about your picture, but use clever algorithms to compress where possible (for instance, a large area of white could be noted as such, rather than a vast array of white pixels). Even compressed lossless files are much larger than lossy ones.

Do you mean Clone Stamp Tool? With this tool you can clone part of image. With C,one Stamp Tool selected, Alt + click to define source for cloning then paint with brush over area where you want to clone source you have defined.

PNG and GIFF

In photoshop the oval tool is called the ellipse tool. The keyboard shortcut for all the shape tools is U (press the U key). It will highlight the currently selected shape tool in the tool bar on the left of the photoshop window. If the ellipse tool is not allready showing just click the little triangle in the lower right of the shape tool to bring up all the shape tool options, find the ellipse tool and click it. There is also an ellipse (oval) selection tool called the elliptical marquee tool. The keybaord shortcut is M for the marquee tools. To find it use the same method as above.

Adobe Acrobat Reader is a very large program (some would even say bloated). It runs many services in the background for DRM enforcement and update checks. You may find it prudent to use a smaller program, such as SumatraPDF or Foxit.

1. Find where the file is saved on your computer (ex. C\Documents and Settings\John\My Documents\My Pictures).

2. Go to your Desktop and right click on it. Select "Properties" from the menu and then go to the "Desktop" Tab.

3. Click Browse and go to the location you found in step 1. Click the picture and press apply.

if you're a student, take in proof that you are like student card or school fees and ask for the student version. its still fairly expensive but nowhere near the normal price.

if youre not a student then there are cheaper alternatives out there to photoshop that do the same thing. i wouldn't buy it off eBay as it can sometimes be traced back to the original owner or something like that to do with the licencing.

At least, we should have a card reader that support your memory card type. Attach the card reader to the PC through USB connection and you will see your memory card on "My Computer" windows. Consider it as one of your hard disk drives and you can use it easily.

Computer based image can be saved in a variety of formats. The most popular format is JPEG which is a standard devised by the Joint Picture Experts Group. There are other formats depending on what quality of image you want. These are Portable Network Graphic or PNG as well as Quicktime or QT. In the not so distant past each company who made Image Storage Programs had their own, incompatible formats

1) it can be read by almost everybody.

2) it has variable compression so the files can be smaller (but you loose detail).

It depends for what you need it. For example if you are going to edit some layer's filters then you should, just to make sure you can go back later. The short cut for duplicating a layer is,
