How many pens are made in a year?
a lot. Not sure about pens but, 2.8 billion pencils are manufactured every year in the United States.
Depends on the brand of pen. In general, one can expect to find pens being made in a pen factory.
Did China invent the Wheelbarrow?
There is a lot of uncertainty to who in fact was the first to invent the Wheelbarrow, however, China is the nation that currently holds the claim having stated that they were the first to invent the Wheelbarrow, in the Han Dynasty (206BC-220AD).
Egypt and Greece also have respectable claims, however, historical evidence still points at China as the nation who invented the Wheelbarrow.
What is transformation process?
Transformation process uses the elements learning, awareness, vision, strategy, actions, and reflection/evaluation to take inputs such as land, labor, capital, and entrepreneurship and turn them into outputs such as physical goods and intangible services. Learning identifies the issues, forms learning groups, designates meeting times, decides on curriculum, and communicates results. Awareness identifies structure of power, learns how structures operate, and includes roles for constituents. Vision identifies the world we want to create, sets long-term goals, identifies the roles of constituents, and identifies values and beliefs. Strategy identifies the best to enact our mission and vision by determining our analysis, developing our goals, identifying our partners, and identifying what results we expects to receive. Actions put strategies into place, measures the outcomes, works with constituents, and institutes principles. Lastly, reflection/evaluation identifies what worked and did not work and asks what strategies and analysis should be changed.
What is a dam How is it useful to us?

What company did Theodore h maiman work for?
Theodore Harold Maiman developed, demonstrated and patented the world's first laser in 1960. Maiman was born in Los Angeles, California, where in his teens, he earned college money by repairing electrical appliances and radios.[2] He attended the University of Colorado and received a B.S. in engineering physics in 1949 then went on to do graduate work at Stanford University, where he received an M.S. in electrical engineering in 1951 and a Ph.D. in physics in 1955. His doctoral thesis in experimental physics, taken under the direction of Willis Lamb, involved detailed microwave-optical measurements of fine structure splittings in excited helium atoms. Maiman's laser, based on a synthetic ruby crystal grown by Dr. Ralph L. Hutcheson, was first operated on 16 May 1960 at Hughes Research Laboratories in Malibu, California. After a protracted legal battle, some key laser patents were awarded to Gordon Gould. A travesty of justice. Dr. Maiman's patent that demonstrates the first laser has never been in question. After leaving Hughes, Maiman joined Quantatron where he was in charge of the laser activities. In 1962 Maiman became president of the newly formed Korad Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Union Carbide. Union Carbide bought the laser assets owned by Quantatron. Korad was devoted to the research, development, and manufacture of lasers. All minority owned stock of Korad Corporation was exchanged for Union Carbide stock during the first five years. Not wishing to continue working for Union Carbide, he formed Maiman Associates in 1968. Due to his work on the laser, he was twice nominated for a Nobel Prize and was given membership in both the National Academies of Science and Engineering.[3] He received the Oliver E. Buckley Prize in 1966. He was the recipient of the 1983/84 Wolf Prize in Physics, and was inducted into the National Inventors Hall of Fame that same year.
What is the meaning of once through boiler?

What is the difference between batch and continuous process?
If you think of baking cookies it is rather simple. When you make a batch of cookies, you usually make and bake many cookies at a time, which like it sounds is a batch process. A continuous process would be making and baking one cookie at a time.
What is a multi-spindle machine?
A machine having more than one spindle is called multi-spindle machine. A machine with 2 spindles are termed twin-spindle machine. In some of the cnc turning centers twin spindles are used to perform first and second operation simultaneously to complete machining of that component in same operating time. Spindles more than 2 is using in drilling machines normally to perform drilling operation of components like automobile engines at a time.
Probably tying was invented before rope. Rope isn't of much use until you invent tying. There were probably things to tie before rope came along, such as strips of leather.
Yes, many metals can bend, even without being heated (eg. Copper). These are called malleable metals.
