What is the minimum value of high voltage?
Well, the word "high" can have different meanings in various work-areas.
To an electronics specialist, "high" voltage can be anything above 5-10 V.
To a home-electricity-technician, "high" voltage is anything above 50 V.
To an electricity-company-technician, "high" voltage is anything above 230 V.
It is better to ask for a clarification each time you here the term "high voltage".
Six Sigma is a manufacturing process control strategy which first implemented by Motorola.
Six sigma being common used by any sectors of industry nowadays, especially those precision product manufacturing.
Six Sigma manufacturing implemented to control the process or stabilize the process. Then, seeks to improve the quality of process outputs.
Six sigma manufacturing tools are used to stablize or improve processes, aiming towards reaching the target.
What is centrifugal coupled pump?
You may mean a "close-coupled pump" in which case, that is a pump which is mounted directly on the same shaft as the driving motor: i.e. there is no baseplate or coupling to join the two shafts, drive and driven, and the pump hangs off the notor frame. A centrifugal pump is a type of pump where the liquid is forced to travel by an impeller which is inside a close-fitting chamber, or "volute" - it is probably the most common industrial and domestic pump type.
Which fire hazard is represented by an orange x with a number 2 in the center?
Fire hazard #2 identifies a substance with a flashpoint below 200 degrees F.
To answer the question fully, I would need to know what the entire sign looks like. I am not aware of any standard warning signs that are shaped like an orange X.
Without knowing what the question is, I provided a couple of sites that might help:
The headstock of a centre lathe can be opened, revealing an arrangement of gears. These gears are sometimes replaced to alter the speed of rotation of the chuck. The lathe must be switched off before opening, although the motor should automatically cut off if the door is opened while the machine is running (a safety feature).
The speed of rotation of the chuck is usually set by using the gear levers. These are usually on top of the headstock or along the front and allow for a wide range of speeds.
However, sometimes the only way to set the lathe to a particular speed is to change the gear arrangement inside the headstock. Most machines will have a number of alterative gear wheels for this purpose.
* http://www.technologystudent.com/equip1/mlathe1.htmThere are many variants of lathes within the metalworking field. Some variations are not all that obvious, and others are more a niche area. For example, a centering lathe is a dual head machine where the work remains fixed and the heads move towards the workpiece and machine a center drill hole into each end. The resulting workpiece may then be used "between centers" in another operation. The usage of the term metal lathe may also be considered somewhat outdated these days, plastics and other composite materials are in wide use and with appropriate modifications, the same principles and techniques may be applied to their machining as that used for metal.

How to separate hematite from other rock and mud?
A relatively new process, magnetation, will aid in the separation of hematite from other rock. Used in the waste tailing of iron ore mining, the magnets attract the hematite for use.
How is steam produced in a boiler?
Steam is generated by heat from the combution of fuel in a furnace or by waste heat from a process. The heat is transferred to water in the boiler shell, which then evaporates to produce steam under pressure.
in cold welding you use an ice block and some ice cubes
Nominal, in this context, refers to the "face value". So in this case it means what the gauge "face" is indicating. Also called gauge pressure. The difference between nominal pressure and actual pressure depends on whether gauge is a calibrated instrument and is indicating the actual pressure.
Nominal pressure means rated pressure, that is a nominal pressure rating applied to vehicle parts.
Scroll down to related links and look at "Definition of nominal pressure".
What is heat affected zone in weldings?
Heat Affected Zone (HAZ) is a rigion near the welded area, where microstructure shows distinct features of increase in grain size. This HAZ is normally suspetible to sensitization if the material is not stabilized or carbon content is high.
How does a Bollinger engine work?
The engine is a 2 stroke 'semi' diesel. Inlet and exhaust are as per 'normal' two stroke diesel but the injected fuel is not ignited by compression alone as in a normal diesel. Instead a 'hot bulb' on the cylinder head is heated with a blow-lamp before starting and heat from this, transferred to a tube in the combustion chamber which ignites the fuel to start the engine. Once running the engine itself maintains the temperature. Often called a Hot Bulb Engine.
How a lathe machine is specified?
A lathe machine is specified by-
1.The maximum diameter of the workpiece that can be operated on the machine.
2.The distance between the headstock and the tail-stock of the machine.
3.The length of bed of the machine.

Why there are not pneumatic engines above 100kw?
pneumatic system use air and air has its limitation of use mainly due to its high compressibility as gas.high power applications may compress air to such an extent leading to destruction of the system.whereas hydraulics also have compressibility which is at an unnoticed level even at high pressure.
I meant motors or generators that run on air released from a reservoir of compressed air.
Examples of alloy and their uses?
Brass and bronze are both alloys used for a wide variety of materials, especially in environments such as salt water that readily corrode most kinds of steel. Jeweler's gold is usually an alloy, unless marked "24 karat." Electrum is a silver-gold alloy that was used for coinage in ancient Greece and/or Asia Minor.
A card skimmer is a device used to steal credit card information. It is placed over the card slot in an ATM machine where it will read the magnetic strip of credit cards as they pass into the ATM. It will then usually keep a record of cardholder information until the criminal returns to the ATM to remove it and recover the data.

What processes do you use to make blister packs?
Blister Packing is typically a packaging type which is most commonly used in Pharmaceutical companies to package medicines/tablets. A blister comprises of two components one is cavity which carries the tablet and other is the lid that seals it off. This is usually done on automated production/packaging lines where the "formed" cavity or pocket is made out of any "formable" medium like plastic, which contains the product and the "lidding" that seals the package. Commonly used materials include FDA approved HIPS, APET and PVC having sterilizable, Anti-Static and Conductive properties.
There are two methods of "forming" that are commonly used to make blisters:
Hot Forming (Thermoforming):
Thermosetting plastic is pre-heated and fed into forming station where it is pressurized to form a blister cavity in a negative mould. Plastic takes the shape of mould after cooling and becomes a rigid cavity. The tablet is put in and the open top of the cavity is sealed of with a thin sheet of some malleable material (mostly aluminium) to complete the process.
Cold Forming:
In this method the tablet is actually pressed between two layers of an aluminium-based laminate film. The aluminium-based laminate film can also be pressed against a mould to capture a definite shape and a tablet can be put in afterwards and sealed.
A vision inspection system is installed on the packaging line to inspect all the elements. A camera based inspection system inspects the blisters for any kind of faults like, empty chambers, broken tablets, incorrect prints, etc. This is of utmost important in pharmaceutical industry as any incorrect packaging might levy heavy penalties. Incorrect printed price on the product or Exp.date on any drug could lead us to troublesome consequences. This makes the Vision Inspection system inevitable for all such industries.
What is the definition 300Tc fabric woven from cotton?
TC simply means "thread count" when referring to fabric. A fabric woven from cotton with a 300TC has 300 threads woven in one square inch.
What is mean by loading effect of transducer?
any transducer is measuring something
it takes a bit of something to make the transducer work
which loads the device under test
as you put more power to an audio transducer it most move further and vibrate slower and as such loads the device and lowers the frequency
if you are measuring temperature the measured device must also heat the thermometer which is a load on the heat source
