Does flowers have insect pollinated flower?

Flowers are structures on a type of plants called angiosperms, which usually exploit a strategy involving a flower, called biotic pollination which requires another organism (vector) typically, although not always, an insect. By contrast, abiotic pollinators like grasses and conifers would use other means like wind or rarely water to effect pollination. Biotic non-insect pollinators may rely on birds or bats for transport, but the great majority of pollen vectors are insects.

correspondingly small flowers.

Several tiny species of gnats are called midges.

The gnat's proboscis, or snout, is adapted for both piercing and sucking.

The larvae usually hatch in water.

Gnats have two membranous wings; long, jointed legs; large eyes; and small antennae.

Is a lobster considered an insect?

A lobster is an arthropod, a classification of animals that includes insects. You could more accurately say lobsters are bugs rather than insects.

____

I would disagree. A lobster is not a bug. It is a crustacean(Crustacea). True bugs are in the class Insecta, order Hemiptera, suborder Heteroptera. Crustacea and Insecta both belong in the phylum Arthropoda. From that point, the classification differs. "Bug" is used as a catch-all term in every day, non-taxonomic language to refer to crawly things and sometimes infectious organisms (bacteria) or non-living infectious agents (viruses). An entomologist would never refer to a lobster as a bug.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of sweep net for collecting insects?

It's the most effective net for hunting in grass, where you have the highest chances to find grasshoppers, butterflies etc (don't think I've really caught butterflies any other way, maybe with a jar, but that required much patience). You can hunt pretty fast, with great sweeps, and you can be specific, as opposed to using a beating screen where everything just falls on and half of it escapes.

Though, it's also the most delicate net, and it can get damaged if you're not careful. You have to have other nets and screens with you for bushes, branches and water. You can carry other equipment in it when not hunting, though, up to a certain weight. :P

What insects can Jewish people eat?

Jewish people are not allowed to eat insects due to their religion. Jewish people can only eat kosher food, meaning the food has to follow certain requirements and insects do not follow those requirements. There is one exception to this in that there are certain varieties of locust which may be eaten (Leviticus ch.11). However, due to the rarity of these types of locusts outside of desert regions, only the Yemenite Jewish community retained the traditional knowledge to distinguish between acceptable locusts and forbidden ones.

Do insecticides kill humans?

Some insecticides are just as toxic to humans as they are to insects. Typically, it just takes a larger exposure to affect a human. However, some insecticides can be toxic even in small quantities. Insecticides such as malathion or diazinon would be harmful to humans in much smaller quantities than insecticides derived from soaps or orange peels.

How can you kill Spanish Moss?

The following materials are licensed for control of Spanish moss and/or ball moss: TC Tribasic Copper Sulphate, Blue Shield, Basic Copper 53, Micro Flo Basic Copper 53, Micro Flo Copper 3 FL. It should be noted that there is evidence that copper-based herbicides and fungicides may cause damage to tender growth on oak trees. As with all herbicides, when using these materials read and follow label directions carefully.

Hand removal of Spanish moss is possible and can be done successfully on small trees by standing on a ladder or using a pole. For larger trees, a basket-truck or "cherry-picker" is usually necessary. The procedure is labor intensive and costly. Homeowners would be well advised to consider the ecological benefits of Spanish moss and let the plant grow unless heavy infestation is endangering the health of the tree through reduced light. In such cases, hand removal of the denser festoons coupled with judicious pruning of light-suppressed branches will usually restore the tree to a more attractive and healthier condition. Hand removal of ball moss is possible as well. Use caution, as tearing out of firmly attached clumps may damage twigs, opening the way for secondary infection by fungi or insects.

Why did people used to paint the bottom of their trees white?

This is called "whitewashing". It was to discourage insects from attacking the tree. The white was an insecticide mixture, about the consistency of a heavy motor oil. Yea, and the 'paint' was harder on the tree than the incects. So they quit doing this. This is not an insect issue. It was a special paint used on decideous trees that kept the bark near the ground from cracking during a frost. It reflected sunlight that could warm this area up and make it expand.
