"X Sheets", "Exposure Sheets", and "Gray Sheets" are terms used in the animation industry for the different colored sheets of oversize paper on which lip synch timing information about words and sounds is written, along with other directorial cues, as instructions for the artists who draw each frame. The "X Sheets" generated by the LSM are computer files intended to be printed using your own printer on regular sized 8.5" x 11" sheets of paper. The X Sheet format is a special format that displays lip synch timing information in a way essentially similar to the "Frames" format, except it has been fancied up to look like the Gray Sheets used at either Turner Animation, or at Hyperion. If you require a different output format for your projects (for example, to be printed using your in-house 17"x11" PostScript laserprinter), then please let us know, and we may be able to create a custom format for you for a reasonable fee.

Interior is inside. Exterior is outside. If I comment on how "The interior space of the house is warm and inviting", I'm talking about how the inside of your house feels and looks.
A post and beam home is one that uses wood posts (often 6x8's or 8x8's) and wood beams (6x10's, 8x10's or bigger) to make the structural frame. The beams are exposed on the inside of the house and are quite beautiful to look at.
Does floor joist height increase with length of joist?
Not really. All joists will be the same whether you are working on a 1st or second floor, so your floor does not have a bunch of different levels. Usually we use 2 x 12 lumber, doubling joists which have walls above them or decreasing the spacing if you are at the limits of the span. example you have a 22' span in a garage with living area above it, you would use 2 x 12 with 12" on center spacing.
What is the correct location to place a light switch on the wall as you enter a room?
On the wall at four feet in height, inside the room, opposite the door hinge. If there is no door to the room, on the wall at four feet in height, inside or outside the room, left or right hand side. Some locations will be governed by structure conditions. <><><> As always, if you are in doubt about what to do, the best advice anyone should give you is to call a licensed electrician to advise what work is needed. The designation "Interior Refiner" was coined by home design expert, Lauri Ward, in 1995 to describe the women and men who have trained and have been certified in her trademarked Use What You Have Decorating system (featured in the classic book of the same name, published by Penguin Group/Perigee in 1998).
An "Interior Refiner" is a one day decorator whose mission is to provide affordable, professional, quality decorating help to the public. Interior Refiners champion the use of existing furnishings in order to transform homes rather than encourage new purchases.
Upon successful completion of training, certified Interior Refiners add room refinement services to their existing conventional interior design businesses or instead open independent redecorating firms. To ensure quality control and maintain the highest possible standards of practice, only Lauri Ward is authorized to train and certify Interior Refiners.
Select certified Interior Refiners who practice these techniques are members of the Interior Redecorators Network (IRN) and are listed on the Interior Redecorators Directory (see related link).

How many bricks do you need to cover 48 square feet and one brick is 17 inches x 17 inches?
23.91, or 24 if you round your answer. Turn your bricks surface area into feet since your overall surface area is in feet (or vice versa). 17" divided by 12" = 1.416666 times itself gives you 2 sq. feet taken up by each brick. How many times does 2 go into 48 = 24.

Should you paint each room in the house a different color?
This is a personal thing, and tends to work best if you do not have an open concept home, as it can become difficult to determine where to leave off one colour and start the next.
I personally have always liked a home where each bedroom is a different colour. It tends to add personality to the rooms.
My only insistence when painting rooms different colours is that the mouldings (baseboards, chair-rails, door & window casings etc) are a uniform colour throughout the home. It adds cohesion to the overall look and eliminates the "where do I change colours at the door" dilemma.
