Most women have a uterus that is tilted in one direction or the other. A uterus with a prominent bend may make it more difficult to insert the IUD correctly, and increase the risk of expulsion, but health care providers are normally aware of this bend when they do the pelvic exam prior to IUD placement. Well from the information that I have gathered from the net, it ranges from $300-$400. It saves you money if you are planning on using it long-term, but it's very costly for short term. When I had mine in 4 years ago it cost $300. A friend of mine was going to get it a few months ago but it would of cost her $700. So she didn't get it. I'd call your doctor to get an idea of what it might cost you.
