4. Once the transfer is initiated, your iPad will receive the note. You can then review the content of the note if needed.

The same way you delete apps on any IOS device. Hold down the icon till it wiggles, and then press the X in the corner of the icon. Note that you cannot delete the core apps that came with the iPad.
