With Mac OS X pressing the Command key (cmd), Shift and 3 keys will capture the whole screen. Pressing Command, Shift and 4 will give you a crosshairs cursor that you can click and drag over the section of the screen you want to capture; or pressing the Space bar will turn the crosshairs into a camera which will capture the window it is over when the mouse is clicked.

The captured images are usually saved to your Desktop in .png format and are named Screen Shot followed by the date and time.

In the Preview application there is a Take Screen Shot option from the File menu which adds your screen shot to your preview document and can then be saved in multiple formats (for example: PDf or Photoshop formats).

In the Utilities folder within the Applications folder is a utility called Grab which offers timed screen grabs and lets you change the cursor image from the Preferences.

Sadly you can't:( this was one of my phones that I wanted (a great phone for teens) but I have verizon and there is no way I'm switching to sucky AT&T for that phone.

I have been reading ebooks on my iPod Touch for quite some time now. So, no big change there.

I also browse the Web with my Touch. Although I will admit that the larger screen Web browsing easier.

In reality the iPad has no significant advantage over the iPod Touch. And it probably is not as functional as an iPhone, no phone or camera.

So, why the iPad? The iPhone now has big time competition. I have talked to users of the Droid phone from Verison. They say that the the iPhone is running a very distant second place to the Droid. Apple needs some new gadget to boost their sales numbers. The problem is that there is really nothing new to the iPad.

One more thing. Try to carry an iPad around in your pocket of purse! LOL

My understanding is that when you plug your headphones into the computer and try to play a song on iTunes, the sound does not work.
