When will us bomb Iran?

Quote: "Other than those who have the power to start a war, no one knows when or if the United States will start or get into a war with Iran. We can only watch any developments and speculate."

Although it's not official, some people (myself included) are speculating that we may have a war by 2013-4, as what is official is that Iran "ARE" developing nuclear WEAPONS as opposed to energy! Here is what I've read

- The Times newspaper obtained documents showing that Iran ordered some form of detonator and other parts that are inconsistant with energy (Now why would you need detonators for nuclear energy?)

- FACT - Iranians on tv have been shouting *DEATH TO BRITAIN*, *DEATH TO AMERICA* and *DEATH TO ISRAEL* whilst the Iranian government/military have been publicly test-firing rockets/warheads on tv in a show of provocation!

- Iran's leader publicly said that Israel should be wiped off the map!

- Iran's president and Ayatollah have publicly said they'll hit/fight back if invaded (with what? I thought there were no weapons)

- Iran is the main supplier of weapons to terrorists/terror organisations such as Al-Qaeda, The Taliban, Hamas and Hizbollah (I know this as I've read all the facts and the soldiers in Iraq or Afghanistan were showing a tv news crew, from Britain, weapons and exploded bombs which were marked "Made in Iran" and the Israeli defence and intelligence services showed evidence of their continued supply to the Palestine and Gaza area via Iranian sources)

- Iran's nuclear program will be finished/completed by 2014 just after the next US election and some are speculating that Obama and republican opponents will use it as an election propaganda tool, like they did with 9/11 and the supposed Iraq link, to publicly rally for action against terror elements/supporters (IRAN) who threaten others wellbeing (Israelis, westerners etc)

- Iran aren't disproving weapons allegations by being open with inspectors (just think, if, for example, I was in their position, and I was the Iranian leader, I would prove myself to be completely innocent by just showing them all evidence and showing off on tv by saying *look at these foolish westerners making horrid allegations which are untrue* in order to belittle and silence my opponents/the enemy, rather than their current stance of "denial without proof" of peaceful purposes whilst test-firing rockets and keeping tight-lipped about their actions and threatening Jewish and western safety)

I could go on, but I think that the above facts are good, clear and understandable enough to know that something's not right (ordering detonators for energy?????) and that the west will react sooner or later if the moderate and peaceful iranians don't!!! The vast majority of moderate Muslims (of which I'm friends with a few) disapprove of this negative behaviour and are as moderate as the west but just with a different religion, but it is the extremists currently in charge of Iran who I fear will tip the earth into WW3 like Hitler in 1940!

What is housing like in Iran?

Housing in Iran

Urban Centres

Housing in the urban centres of the country is pretty comprable to other countries with all the amenities of Europe, US and Canada. With the freely available amount of modern luxuries such as large refriderators and modern cars. Living in cities such as Tehran is similar to European cities such as London, Berlin and Paris and any item you wish to buy is available. The vast majority of the urban population in the country live in newly constructed apartments in many of the larger cities and due to the lack of urban spaces the prices are high in comparison to average wage in the country.

Suburbs

These a relative novelty in Iran at present with the push to live centrally, the idyllic housing style of Iran leaves little room for sprawling suburbs at a minimum. However with new developments outside Tehran these days, there is a push to lower the population density in the centre of the city. Outside the new Imam Khomeini Airport lies new urban developments to pull people out of the capital. In the future there will be a rise in these due to the over whelming demographic of the country who are in the beginnings of their adult life, hence family houses will become more popular in the coming years.

Rural

These are the more neglected areas in the country, but the present administration has made inroads to developing the infrastructure of these rural centres. The build quality has been quite poor for many years but due to the rise in the countries urban elite, villas are popping up all over rural areas, which are in a commutable drive to the urban centres. In the coming decades the local populations will head to and from the urban areas, and at present land property prices in these rural areas is still quite high, considering the lack of amenities.

Vacation Housing

Over the past 30 years many places outside urban centres have become quite popular with the urbanites of Iran. With places like the Caspian sea and the semi-autonimous Kish Island to the south enjoy all the amenities of any holiday destination. In the winter, places such as Dizin and the surrounding ski resorts have also become popular as a place to escape the hustle and bustle of Tehran and ski chalets and apartments can be rented or purchased. However the prices are increasing all time time.

Yes, following the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait in 1990. Operation Desert Shield was began by western forces. During this time and Iraqi force crossed the Saudi border and occupied a small town named Khafji. The assault was nearly immediately thrown back. The west thought this was a minor maneuver but looking at how ineffective Iraq was throughout Operation Desert Storm, this was probably a major attack for them.
