First you have to put your carbonated beverage in the carborator, because that is why it is called the carborator. After that then you have to turn on your car. This can be difficult if you lost your keys, so don't lose those. After that your car should explode because you just dumped soda down the carborator. That should put it at rest.

If your car has antilock brakes, changing the pads is a bit different than what most people are used to. With a normal (non-ABS) car, you just unbolt the caliper, press apart the old pads to retract the piston, then replace the pads. This procedure forces much of the brake fluid out of the caliper and back into the master cylinder. The fluid is put back once you step on the brakes.

With an ABS car, you CAN'T force the fluid back; if you do you'll damage the ABS valve body (£800). Instead, you must open the caliper bleed screw and drain the excess fluid out of the caliper while you press the piston back into the bore. This is very important! If you force the dirty, water-contaminated fluid back through the relatively fragile valve body, you'll ruin it.

Also, did you know that you are supposed to replace all of the brake fluid in an ABS car once each year? That's different from older-style cars too.

As you are faing the front of the car, it is just left of center. Crawl under the car on your back, and it will be just to your right near the front fender.

Changing the headlight bulb in a Jaguar X-Type vehicle is easy. Simply find the bulb located on either side of the car near the wing. Unscrew the bulb and replace it with a new one.

My 2003 x-type always makes a slight rattle right when I start the engine, when it's cold. An investigation pointed to something benign like a heat shield but I never pinned it down to anything specific. The sounds always goes away after a few seconds and, other than the noise, I've never noticed any other ill effects.

Another x-type owner with whom I was corresponding said he had the exact same issue and he, also, never had any other problems, other than the noise which, as in my case, stopped after a few seconds. So apparently, this is a not uncommon issue with the x-type.

1st move the light switch to the desired position. 2nd PULL the switch gentle towards you. There are two positions for this switch. The first position or click, will turn on your front running lights. The second position or click will turn on both your front running lights and additional lights in the rear. You will be able to tell that you have activated them by the icons on your dash that will inform you they are on. To turn off simply push the switch back in.

(Actually, those are the FOG lights, front and rear.)

I've had this problem, it appears to be due to low engine temperature, in my case caused by a defective thermostat.

Could you display indicator dashboard icons for jaguar x type 2002?

My Navigator doesn't work properly. Some time it works other time It says that the DVD is not the one of Maps.

My question is: Shall I bay a new DVD of Maps ? If yes: Wich one?

or it's same thing as to do with the DVD Player?

The year, make and front or rear wheel bearings info would help.

On the coolant reservoir. This is a plastic reservoir toward the back right of the engine compartment.

its in the glove box you have to open a little hatch first and a torch will help ,its a bit dark

i have a 2002 x-type and mine is under the steering wheel to the left side

All Water Pumps are bolted to the front of motors. They run off the timing belt.

It'll be on the front driver's side of the motor.

The X-Type Diesel does not have a cam belt, its a chain and never needs changing.
