A go kart is basicaly a mini race car for kids except it doesn't go as fast, and when racing, you don't do 200-250 laps.

Actually, a kart isn't just for kids. There are many adults who do the sport. There are also races called endurance races that do 100-250 laps.

There are many different types of karts and engines. Engines= Komet Piston Port, fastest engine for teens, Yamaha, mid horsepower for any age, Shifter, fastest kart engine, TaG (Touch and Go) second fastest kart engine, Cadet, an okay speed for kids, and Kid Karts, the slowest which is for 5-8 year old kids.

There are countless types of kart brands so I wont name them.

In F1 and most circuit racing, blue flags are used to indicate to a driver that a faster car is approcahing from behind to lap him. The driver is then expected to yield.

Blue flags(some places, blue lights) are also used at the pit exit, to indicate to drivers leaving the pit, that there is a car approaching on the track.

I'm pretty sure you have to beat either 100cc's special cup or 150cc's special cup in first place. If i'm wrong try beating lightning cup on 150cc.

NO. Alternating current motors are terrible for go karts because the inverter required to power the motor under load is WAY more expensive than a more powerful Direct current motor. For example, 250watt A/C motor may only take 250watts to run, but under load it may require as much as 1000 watts or more to get you up to speed.

It is totally stupid to ride karts anywhere without a helmet, legal or not.

Tell them it's safe to drive, the tracks are quite secure, and the karta WON'T fall apart, and if you have no experience in Go-Karts, tell them you'll drive carefuly!

You can also check out websites locally like Craigslist to see if anyone is selling one and how much they list it for. If you are looking to sell, you can price similarly.

Not very fast at all because of all of the weight but the 150 pounds would almost even it out.
