On February 1, 1960, a group of black college students from North Carolina A&T University refused to leave a Woolworth's lunch counter in Greensboro, North Carolina where they had been denied service. This sparked a wave of other sit-ins in college towns across the South. The Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee, or SNCC (pronounced "snick"), was created on the campus of Shaw University in Raleigh two months later to coordinate these sit-ins, support their leaders, and publicize their activities. Over the next decade, civil rights activism moved beyond lunch counter sit-ins. In this violently changing political climate, SNCC struggled to define its purpose as it fought white oppression. It began by organizing sit-ins at segregated lunch counters to protest the pervasiveness of Jim Crow and other forms of racism. One of its earliest members was J. It depend's on the information that you are looking for. I can tell that, because of barrel length, the ATF is not really sure if it should be classified as a sawed-off shot gun. The mechanic's are elegantly simple, but takes practice. First off, the safety is a slide bar though the trigger body, square on the right side, round on the left. To load the peice the safety must be engaged (pushed to the right). Then you will be able slide the release forward, this is the two round button's on either side of the body, the right side having a small, hooked metal plate attached to it. This allow's you to "breech" it, the same as any breech loaded long gun, i.e. push down on the barrel. Then you put the load's in. DO NOT TRY TO BE COOL AND SNAP-SWING IT CLOSED!!! The load's tend to side prtially out and CAN catch wrong, in which case you will have an uncontrolled mis-fire (not a good thing). Ok, so lift the barrel closed and there you go. Reverse the process engaging the safety, while remembering, the refered to small metal plate may sometimes not slide forward fully, so this may have to be done manually.
