The spark plugs are located on either side of the engine underneathe the two rectangle shaped black plastic covers. Do yourself a favor, unless the vehicle has over 100,000 miles and/or your gas mile/performace is dropping, don't have the plugs changed. They are hard to get to. If you're not very mechanically inclined, get the dealer to do it.

The height of the 2014 Kia Sorento is 5 ft. 6.9 in. (66.9 in.).

You can only get it at the Dealer, Late 2008 it was $9.10 a qt. If this is what your's requires don't use anything else it will void waranty. My 2006 Sorento drian and fill only like book says 4.5 qts. to do the job.

The fuel temp sensor is located under the floor just in front of the right rear seat. There is an opening in the floor through which you can gain access to the sensor which is inside the gas tank. Problem is that Joe Public can not purchase the sensor from the local auto parts store, only a lic. mech can buy it. Why, because access to the sensor is into the gas tank and for safety reasons is not for sale to Joe Public.

It's actually quite simple. The hardest part I found was removing the bolts from the caliper and was able to get them off with some liquid wrench and a socket wrench. Once you get the caliper off, take a small bungee cord and hook the caliper up on the spring so that you don't stretch or damage the brake line. The pads will just slide off. There are 2 clips and a thin plate (keep these).

Pay close attention and note how you removed the old pads as this is how you will put the new pads back on.

You might also want to check the rotors and make sure they have no grooves and are smooth. To be on the safe side it would not hurt to replace them, (31.99 each from Autozone), to replace the rotors it only requires the removal of the caliper bracket and 2 Philips head screws, then it slides right off and put the new one on and replace the screws and caliper bracket.

Make sure you grease the back of the pad and the plate. Now slide the new pads back on.

Now it is time to put the caliper back on. On the Kia Sedona there are 2 pistons per caliper. Remove the lid from the brake fluid reservoir. Take one of the old brake pads and place over the pistons then take the C-clamp and tighten it until each piston is fully pushed back in. You'll know if they aren't because the caliper will not go back over the new pads until they are. Also note that the brake pads will be flush up against the rotor.

Once the caliper is back on and bolted down reach in the van and press the brake pedal w/ your hand, (you really don't want to physically get in the van while it is jacked up) and press the pedal until you have solid pressure.

And that is it. Put your tire back on and take your van for a test drive.

Our sunroof leaks after any heavy rain or carwash due to plugging in the sunroof drain holes. From what our service dept. claims, the sunroof does not form a perfectly water tight seal with the roof by design. There are actually tiny drain holes around the perimeter that allow any seepage to drain down through the windshield columns and out near the front tires. It should work unless debris is now plugging those drains.

the diesel filter needs to be replaced

From what I've been told it is inside the fuel pump in the fuel tank. I have also been told by a couple Kia dealers that it never needs to be replaced unless the pump fails.

I just replaced mine for the second time. Sediment builds up and the symptoms are hesitation on acceleration (actually slows down the more you push the gas pedal) and won't go over 45mph for extended lengths of time. The filter is inside the fuel pump housing and the fuel pump is accessed through the hatch under the rear passenger side seat. It's much easier to replace the whole fuel pump assembly, but if you want to save yourself over $100 you can get the filter separately on line for about a third the cost of the dealership price.

Standing in front of thre Sorento, facing the engine, there is a black rubber button on the leftside at the fender at fender height, between the air cleaner and the coolant reservoir. Push it in the center. Hope this helps, you will need it if you have a minor fender bender.
