Its probably the fuse in your engine compartment fuse box. Take off the cover and underneath the cover it shows you its a 30 amp fuse called blower, I am currently trying to figure out how to take it out though.

Case of the missing spark plugs? Not a problem, they are located under a lid on top the motor. The lid spells out KIA on top of it. There are large Phillips screws holding it on. They sometimes become rusty, so you may need to spray them with PB Blaster first. After you take that off, you will see 2 large black boxes, these are the coil packs. They are held on by smaller Phillips screws. Remove ONE of them, (PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO THE WIRES THAT ARE CONNECTED TO THE COIL PACKS! YOU WILL PUT THEM BACK IN THE SAME POSITION!), you will see the spark plugs down in the hole. After you change the one side, change the other.

FYI...It doesnt hurt to draw the diagram of the wires out on paper so you don't forget where they go. Also, make sure and put the coils packs in the same position that you removed them from.

Dude, seriously...goto the dealer. If you dont know what your doing...dont do it. You could really mess it up.

If your talking about check engine light the only way to reset the codes for those is by a OBD II (On Board Diagnostics) scanner, you can buy one at any auto parts store, but if you do not wish to buy one, most Advance Auto Parts stores will reset the code. Keep in mind if the engine light is on and a code is present, there is a problem with the vehicle, and without fixing the problem and just reseting the code, it will not fix the problem, and the engine light will come back on within 4 days or 4 drive cycles.

If the 2003 Spectra keeps blowing a meter fuse when plugged in, the power source is probably not big enough to handle the voltage. An electrician will be able to rewire the meter fuse box so that the auto will no longer blow fuses.

I need to find on a service manual for a 2001 kia spectra. Or at least find a diagram of the fuse boxes in a 2001 kia specta.

This can be attributed to a couple of things. In order to remove the key you can remove the plastic piece under the ignition switch to expose a key release button. OR you can drill out the small circle in the area below the ingnition switch to access the key release button.

The stuck key may be a faulty ignition switch or a bent shift lever. This causes the lever to not make the release solenoid contact. If you slammed it into park you make have bent the contact point on the control arm.

Faulty ignition switches are a common failure.

Yes you can tow a kia spectra

probably none...excepting another Kia models' tranny...new cars are not nearly as compatible as older vehicles are...the big problem I can think of is dimensions. nowadays, with vehicles and their factory components being designed on computers to minimize wasted space, swapping just about anything turns into a nightmare. also, even if one would fit, the added cost of adapting parts which make the swap possible, nullify any economical reason to do it. my advice would be to stick with the tranny you got unless you want to open a HUGE can of worms and give yourself a bad headache. if you need a replacement...autozone has cheap, rebuilt tranny's with warranties. and they'll even give you some money for your old busted one too. an even cheaper route is through a wrecking yard...but you get no warranty, and it's used...a recipe for disaster

The best and only fluid you should use is exactly what Kia recommends and nothing else. Look in your owners manual or call your local Kia dealer.

I would check your charging system. If you turn over your key and your starter just clicks, it is usually a low battery charge or your starter is out. I would suggest jumping off your vehicle and taking it to autozone and have them do a charging test for free.

The speed sensor is located in the back of the transmission, in between the axels.

If it makes a clicking, grinding, rattling, or other noise when you accelerate with the steering turned it is not safe.

Your tires either need to be ballenced, You need to go to someone else for an alighnment, your body on the car is bent, or you need new shocks and struts.

try looking under the glove compartment dash by were your left foot would sitting, if you were in it,there is a white switch there you can't miss it..it may be stuck to the left or the right,try both...it is easy to get bumped or kicked,there is a small rod that runs off from that white switch to another switch check that 1 too.....

The "easiest" way to do it is to remove the headlights and go down through there.

1. Try holding the shift lever against the "Park" position while taking the key out. 2. Try turning the steeringwheel to the left and or right while taking the key out. 3. Try to pres the key further into the switch, then turning it to the lock position, and take it out. 4. Try pressing on the brake peddle while taking the key out. This has worked on my daughter's 2001 Buick Regal.

the car could need a tune up the spark plug are located in the top of the motor under all of the plastic If it's just idling rough, but runs fairly smooth, make sure all the vacuum lines are connected and in good shape. A leaking vacuum line is notorious for this kind of problem. good luck

i believe it is 75-90 gear oil IT IS NOT IS NOT AUTOMATIC TRANNY OIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
