If the key stuck is stuck in the ignition of a 1994 Saturn SL1 is there a release for the key?
1b. If there is not a small removeable plastic piece, remove the housing around the steering wheel (this may require removing a few screws), and look for a white button directly under the steering wheel.
2. Hold it down and the key will turn with ease.
Permanant FixKeeping this button held in will solve the problem.Trouble code P0451 means: Evaporative Emission System Pressure Sensor/Switch Range/Performance
What other cars automatic transmissions will fit in 2002 Kia Spectra?
probably none...excepting another Kia models' tranny...new cars are not nearly as compatible as older vehicles are...the big problem I can think of is dimensions. nowadays, with vehicles and their factory components being designed on computers to minimize wasted space, swapping just about anything turns into a nightmare. also, even if one would fit, the added cost of adapting parts which make the swap possible, nullify any economical reason to do it. my advice would be to stick with the tranny you got unless you want to open a HUGE can of worms and give yourself a bad headache. if you need a replacement...autozone has cheap, rebuilt tranny's with warranties. and they'll even give you some money for your old busted one too. an even cheaper route is through a wrecking yard...but you get no warranty, and it's used...a recipe for disaster
Which is the best transmission fluid to use in Kia spectra?
The best and only fluid you should use is exactly what Kia recommends and nothing else. Look in your owners manual or call your local Kia dealer.
KIA Spectra will not start just clicks and horn starts blowing?
I would check your charging system. If you turn over your key and your starter just clicks, it is usually a low battery charge or your starter is out. I would suggest jumping off your vehicle and taking it to autozone and have them do a charging test for free.

How do you change a fog light 05 kia spectra 5?
The "easiest" way to do it is to remove the headlights and go down through there.
How do you get a stuck key out of the ignition?
1. Try holding the shift lever against the "Park" position while taking the key out. 2. Try turning the steeringwheel to the left and or right while taking the key out. 3. Try to pres the key further into the switch, then turning it to the lock position, and take it out. 4. Try pressing on the brake peddle while taking the key out. This has worked on my daughter's 2001 Buick Regal.
What do I check on a 2003 Kia Spectra that is idling rough?
the car could need a tune up the spark plug are located in the top of the motor under all of the plastic If it's just idling rough, but runs fairly smooth, make sure all the vacuum lines are connected and in good shape. A leaking vacuum line is notorious for this kind of problem. good luck
What type of fluid is used in standard transmission in Kia Sephia?

kia has had problems with the grond wire at the fuel pump in the tank you need to do a fuel pressure test to see if the pump is putting out the correct fuael pressure. this is done by hoocking up a gauge to the test port on the fuel rail it almost looks like a valve stem pressure should be 50-60 psi
Why does my 2002 Kia Spectra fuel tank indicater read full all of the time?
Typically when a fuel gauge reads incorrectly it is the fuel sending unit in the fuel tank.In order to determine where the problem really is accessing the fuel sending unit on newer cars is fairly easy. Most have a access area either from removing the bottom of the back seat or from the trunk area under the carpet. In short if the fuel sending signal wire is grounded it should make the gauge either go back to empty or to the full mark IF it is not working properly.Just a simple check to verify if the part above is defective,or possibly your gauge itself has a electrical issue.I just recently fixed a exact issue as I have done before gauge read full and already knew the problem.

Does a 5 speed Kia Optima have a transmission dipstick?
No, there is no dipstick. Manual transmissions do not have a dipstick. My 2006.5 Optima manual does not have a dipstick.
Absolutely not! The proportioning valve is a very important part of the brake system. Don't even think of bypassing it. Replace the valve if it is bad. Don't even think about it! That's one of the few things you can't screw around with. If its bad; replace it!
What special tool is needed to change brake pads on a 2005 KIA Spectra?
If it is the rear brakes, you will need one of these, a socket wrench and a large 'C' clamp. Get yourself a haynes manual or similar, that'll tell you what to do! http://www.autobarn.net/lis28600.html
Actually , you need a hex bit 8 mm. I edited , for you should have the C clamp as well. and a 8 mm hex bit
to help close the caliper before installing the new pads...
