Is the Kindle with 3g better than the Kindle without?
I think it depends on whether you intend to download books away from your internet connection. Generally most people would use their home internet to download books and then take their kindle away with them. All the 3G does is allow you to have a remote internet connection away from your home allowing you to download books whilst travelling on a train or bus or in a car.

Does the Amazon Kindle support hebrew?
The Kindle DX supports Arabic in two ways: natively with .AZW files and via PDF. There are already some Arabic text books available for Kindle, including Faruk Abu-Chacra'sArabic: An Essential Grammar and the Qur'an.
The Kindle DOES NOT SUPPORT Arabic .MOBI or .PRC files because the default fonts are not fully Unicode compliant and don't support Arabic.
You can also create PDF's of Arabic language documents and mail them to your Kindle account for a small fee, which depends on the size of the file. I've used a variety of fonts in documents I've created myself and they all display on the Kindle almost exactly as they do in the original.
All types of Kindle support the above mentioned AZW and PDF formats. To avoid paying Amazon a fee for transmitting the file to your Kindle you can also achieve the same result using the supplied USB cable or a WiFi connection.
You can also convert Arabic text into series of images as in following example. You can check the Qur'an which is converted into series of images for kindle.

I wonder if the above person has even SEEN a Kindle???
I received a K2 for a Christmas gift and have fallen in love with Kindle. Bought myself a K3 just because it's a bit smaller (and the price has dropped so much!) and holds 3000 books (the K2 holds 1500). I'm so spoiled reading it. Love not having to turn pages.. just press a button. And I can read outdoors with no problem. I have more then 140 books 'associated' with my Kindle (although I let Amazon "keep" them for me in their storage. I move them to my K2 when I want to read it) I know... why get the K3 but hey.. it's just fun to know I CAN have all those books at once in my hand. Ü
"Amazon" has been a wonderful business to work with and the discussion forums on Kindles helps with any questions you might have and information you might want to know. Actually, last week I found a forum thread talking about ALL the things you can do on this e-reader. I knew you could listen to music but that's only a tiny bit of all the options. More then this non-geek could ever use but fun to know it's an option.
I told my husband there is nothing he could ever get me that could top this for a gift. I 'lent' him the K2 when I got my K3. He really enjoys it, too.
Yes, Kindle works in Romania. The latest generation Kindle (3rd) is international. The downside is that Whispernet transfers cost more and that's reflected in the price of the books on Amazon. Other than that, it works great.

Which do you think is better - the Amazon Kindle or the Sony eReader?
The Amazon Kindle is better in some ways and the sony ereader is better in others.
It really depends on which sony ereader you are dealing with. The PRS-700 BC is more advanced with touch screen, landscape view, LCD light for night reader which are some of the things the Kindle does not offer.
On the other hand, the Amazon Kindle offers wireless delivery of books in under one minue, access to over 300,000 books at the Kindle store, plus magazines, newspapers, and blogs.
The sony reader offers only 160,000 books from the sony store.
For more information, look at the comparison given in the links.
Hope this helps.
:)
I personally preffer the kindle over the sony ereader. Even though it doesn't have a touch screen or colour (they are making ones with colour right now) you can listen to music and there is more of a variety with books and you can go on websites.
