The only way to tell is to have a blood test done, it is possible to guess but the only way to be exactly sure is with a blood test. It all depends on Antigens and Antibodies on the blood cells themselves.

Most drug tests are only testing for the 5 drugs that are part of a standard drug test (Marijuana,Cocaine,Opiates,Meth,PCP). Unless they have a reason to suspect you of using another drug, they will most likely leave it at testing for the drugs I listed above.

I'm not sure I understand the question, but I'll try and give a complete answer and maybe I'll help. Ethyl glucuronide (EtG) is a urine testing procedure. It is designed to find out if the urine donor has been using ethanol (alcohol) over the past few weeks. It is commonly used as part of a rehabilitation program to help an alcohol abuser to stop using, by verifying that he/she is not relapsing and using alcohol. The only thing that makes EtG elevate is the use of alcohol. It does not test for anything else. There are no substances that "mess up" or interfere with the test.

Neither will be had without a doctors prescription, legally. So I think the Q is from someone who has it. I, too, have it. I'm prescribed both. 20mg IR in the morning + 2mg Ativan. They seem to kick in at the same time and last about as long. Later in the day I take a second 20mg IR, usually after lunch so I've got an appetite. Then when the world starts to feel a bit too nasty it's time for that second Ativan. The world didn't used to feel so nasty, but I've been taking Adderall for 6 years with the same dose, roughly, and the "come down" in the evenings without something to smooth it over really blows. Ativan is highly addictive in a sneaky way just like every other benzo though. So *start smaller than you think you need* ... break any dose your doctor prescribes you into 1/4's. Otherwise you'll build up a tolorance QUICK (unlike adderall) and find yourself needing it at all times on an increasing ramp, usually ending with an empty bottle and a frantic call to your doctor. They don't like that. So start verrrrry small. They are safe to be taken together, just be real familiar with both so you know when you can take less. I have my "spares" bottle that grows over time. I'm rather proud of it, it's proof I've been able to skip doses here and there when I simply felt like I could. My final piece of advice: Write the day/night/party/dinner get together etc off before taking the Ativan, if you can. There is no impact on your meds by telling your friends you're just not up for it. The opposite or worse-- diving into the spares bottle for a simple night out? That's a step in the wrong direction. And when taking adderall and ativan together, there aren't many steps, they're very steep, but the view sure is good from up here. :)

The two are opposites. Adderall is a stimulate and Ativan is a depressant, and so they--like all drugs-- should only be taken together under a doctor's supervision.

HOWEVER: if you are having a drug test and you know you will fail it...and you will be in major trouble if you do fail it then it may be worth it to just try it...assuming its not too expensive...Basically if your parents are testing you to ground you or something silly like that then no, dont get it. But if you will loose a job that you really need, or if a court is making you take the test then I would just try it (assuming its not too expensive)

The pros of not trying it is that you save a lot of money because you wont have to buy the product. The cons of not trying it is that you may get in trouble.

No it should not. A proper urine test for alcohol would be chemically targeted to detect only ethyl alcohol... commonly known as ethyanol or grain alcohol. That is the type we drink to get wasted. All other forms of alcohol are deadly poisons to humans and have absolutely no enjoyable effects whatsoever. Therefore it would be an utter waste of time and resources to test for non drinkable alcohols.
