Can you take loratab and methyiprednisolone together?

I wouldn't suggest taking these medications at the same time. First of all, there is no point in doing so. Pick a pain killer and stick with it. It could have some effect when combined so I wouldn't take the chance. Also - If You have a opiate addiction problem or know anybody who does, Please check out the medication suboxone and see a doctor that can prescribe it to you.

Why would TSH have no effect on the metbolic rate of the thyroidectomized rat?

The only effect of TSH (Thyroid Stimulating Hormone) is to stimulate the thyroid gland tissue to produce thyroxine. If there is no longer a thyroid gland to stimulate, the TSH is produced in great abundance, but with no effect.

If you smoke a roach will you fail a drug test?

If by roach you mean weed then yes you would fail a drugs test.

THC (the chemical in weed) can remain in the urine for several days (although the length of time is disputed) and can be found in your hair for months after using. Most drugs tests consist of a urine and hair sample so if you know you've got one coming up soon don't go near the stuff - or any other drugs for that matter.

Can you pass a drug screen with aspirin?

Yes, it can help. It is not a sure fire way to pass by any means. Currently, aspirin can help to screen the THC metabolites in your sample. It does not eliminate or detoxify your sample, it only masks it. Definitely stop smoking at least one week ahead of time and drink at least 2 liters of water (64 oz) and urinate multiple times before the test. Hopefully your urine will be clear by this point.

If you're taking this test at a lab they may question your sample if it is too clear, vitamin b can help to return some of the yellow coloring. They may also check the creatinine levels if they suspect the sample has been diluted. Still, this will lead to a retest which buys you more time to actually detox.

This only works with marijuana and even with water dilution this is not anywhere near 100 percent effective, but it is better than doing nothing.

White blood cell count is likely to drastically increase, or decrease, if a bacterial infection is present. White blood cells are normally fewer then red or platelets however, WBC primarily fight over infection, sicknes, etc. so they will be affected more so than RBC or platelets.

What does unremarkable mean in lab results?

It means that in the doctor's opinion, that this particular aspect of the patient is normal or as would be expected for the patient's age.

How diurnal rhythms affect blood results?

Fluctuations in an individual's blood pressure are normal during the course of a day. When one awakens, the blood pressure is lower as a result of the decreased metabolism and physical activity during sleep. As metabolism and activity increases during the day, the blood pressure rises.

If you don't smoke cannabis but are around it can it be in your urine or blood system?

Metabolic acidosis Causes and symptoms?

Alcohol abuse, cancers, extreme exercise, liver failure, kidney failure, hypoglycemia, medications (especially salicylates), conditions in which there is lack of oxygen, and seizures (especially prolonged ones) plus dehydration (including loss of fluids from conditions such as burns). These are the most common causes.

Do you need a prescription for lab tests?

No. Your doctor will write a request form for the lab to test your sample (blood, urine, faces, swab etc). Depending on the test you may need to collect the sample yourself e.g. urine or stool sample. If it is a blood test, you will need to go to phlebotomy at your local hospital to have a sample of blood collected. However, some nurses at your local surgery may do this. For biopsies of skin or complex procedures you may need to attend a specialised clinic to have the sample collected.

A prescription is only for medication. Not for a laboratory test.

How do you use hemoglucotest?

The hemoglucotest is a strip used to test the blood sugar levels of the body. This is at least a daily occurrence for most diabetics, some must test more frequently.

What can you use to detox naturally?

Hi,

Great question.

Toxins can accumulate in your blood; thus, detoxification consists in removing these unfriendly substances from your bloodstream.

1.Eat plenty of fiber, including brown rice and organically-grown fresh fruits and vegetables. Beets, radishes, artichokes, cabbage, broccoli, spirulina, chlorella, and seaweed are excellent detoxifying foods.

2. Cleanse and protect the liver by taking herbs such as dandelion root, burdock and milk thistle, and drinking green tea.

3. Take vitamin C, which helps the body produce glutathione, a liver compound that drives away toxins.

4. Drink at least two quarts of water daily.

Breathe deeply to allow oxygen to circulate more completely through your system.

5. Transform stress by emphasizing positive emotions.

Thanks....

Can you drink black decaf coffee before a blood test?

User responses:
  • No. From what I have read caffeine does affect cholesterol levels and/or the way they can be interpreted when reading results of a cholesterol blood test. I would suggest that you be clean of any caffeine - three or more days ahead of time - to obtain a caffeine-free result.
  • Advice seems to vary. Some say that black coffee (no sugar, no milk) is fine. Sources for that listed below.

How can you clean your urine?

There are a couple of ways to accomplish this. First, you can drink pickle juice or vinegar. (Yuck!) Secondly, you can add a tablespoon of bleach to a glass of orange juice. Thirdly, you can purchase Certo and follow directions. Finally, you can drink fluids non-stop for a couple of days prior to your test to dilute urine and flush out your system. All of these things have been proven to work by various friends of mine, so good luck!

Your dad is O positive and your mom is AB positive but your blood group is A negative is this possible?

Yes it is possible that the child could have A+ blood group from O+ father and AB+ mother. Let's take the ABO blood group and Rh factors separately.

ABO Blood Group: The blood group of father is O. This means that the father if recessive homozygous and the father will have gametes IO type. The mother is heterozygous and will have gametes IA and IB types. Now when the IO combines with IA the genotype produced is IAIO and the blood group is A.

Rh Factor: Now consider both the parents are heterozygous for Rh factor that is they have the genotype Rh+Rh-. Since in the heterozygous conditions the dominant trait is expressed, so both the parents will be Rh+. The gametes formed by both the parents are Rh+ and Rh-. Now there could be following cases:

When Rh+ of father combines with RH+ of mother the genotype is Rh+Rh+ and the child is Rh+.

When Rh+ of father combines with RH- of mother and vise versa the genotype is Rh+Rh- and the child is Rh+.

When Rh- of father combines with RH- of mother the genotype is Rh-Rh- and the child is Rh-.

Thus a A+ progeny is possible from these parents

What is tuberculin?

Tuberculosis (TB) is a bacterial illness caused by the bacterium Mycobacterium Tuberculosis and is primarily an illness of the respiratory system. The bacteria are spread by respiratory droplets inhaled from someone with the condition who coughed or sneezed. Each year about 1.6 million people die from this curable disease. Certain areas have a high rate of people infected with tuberculosis so it is important to tell a physician/doctor you're seeing about your cough if you recently traveled.

Because tuberculosis mainly affects the lungs, the main symptoms include persistent cough, sometimes producing blood, chest pain, shortness, of breath, fever and sweating (sometimes night sweats), poor appetite and weight loss. Do not panic it is treatable if caught early enough. A chest x-ray and sputum test can be helpful tools for diagnosing the tuberculosis.
Tuberculosis is a disease that attacks the lungs.
Tuberculosis usually attacks your lungs. Signs and symptoms of TB of the lungs include:

  • Coughing that lasts three or more weeks
  • Coughing up blood or sputum
  • Chest pain, or pain with breathing or coughing

Tuberculosis can also affect other parts of your body, including your kidneys, spine or brain. When TB occurs outside your lungs, signs and symptoms vary according to the organs involved. For example, tuberculosis of the spine may give you back pain, and tuberculosis in your kidneys might cause blood in your urine.

How NSAIDS cause renal failure?

NSAIDS can induce two forms of acute renal failure:

1. Haemodynamically mediated

2. Acute interstitial nephritis

Haemodynamically mediated: Renal prostaglandins are vasodilators, but do not play a major role in renal haemodynamics in healthy patients and the basal rate is relatively low. When there is underlying disease, such as heart failure, cirrhosis or volume depletion, the levels of hormone: PGs are increased and they act as vasodilators to ensure adequate renal flow and GFR. Inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis with an NSAID in such patients can lead to reversible renal ischemia, a ↓ in GFR and acute renal failure.

NSAIDs also produce interstitial nephritis with or without nephrotic syndrome secondary to minimal change disease. Although this presents as acute renal failure, it can progress in some cases to chronic renal failure.

NSAIDs increase the risk of developing heart failure in patients with a history of HTN, DM or renal failure, particularly in the first month of use.
