That model is officially supported up to OS X 10.3.9 (Panther) It supports OS 9, 9.1, 9.2, 10.0, 10.1, 10.2, and 10.3 10.4 can be loaded via Xpostfacto (a hack), but the lack of a DVD drive or firewire makes the installation difficult (not many 10.4 install CDs floating around). With 320MB RAM, it should run 10.3.9 OK (assuming it has at least a 6GB HDD). Note that if the hard drive is greater than 8GB, OS X should be on a first partition of less than 8GB.

You can do whatever you want. I have several computers that are more than ten years old that still run fine doing what I need them for.

Never buy a computer that does not meet your needs just because it is newer or people tell you that you need to upgrade!

The same way you would in any other laptop. I have seen a model that has the CD/DVD drive in the front, under the touchpad, but if you ever have trouble finding your optical drive's location, on a Windows computer you can go to your start menu, go to Computer, click it, find your DVD/CD drive, and either double click it or right click it and select "Eject." It should light up if there is an indicator light and the drive will open.

Same way you do on any Vista or Windows 7 computer. Just go to the desktop and right click a blank space. "Personalize"

wow this happens to me alot you have to either press F12 or F11 when it says no bootable devices and then move to the section that shows what bootable devices there are and screw around a little and switch what order things boot and after a few it should work i dont know what type of laptop it is exactly you have so i dont know what exactly the devices you have on it

Sounds like a compatibility issue. If the mouse is extremely old or from an off bran, it's possible that company hasn't created a driver for Win 7. If possible, you'll want to go to Hardware & Sound > Device Manager and look for updates for "Mice and other pointing devices"

Any laptop with an i7 processor and a ati or NVidia Graphics would work just fine.

Laptops are easy to bring places since the monitor, mouse, keyboard, and hard drive are all enclosed in one package. A desktop is much more efficient in processing as all its pieces have room to breathe, however they can be quite heavy as well as time consuming to start up as you need to bring a keyboard, mouse, monitor, power supply, along with the desktop machine in order to get anything done. Laptops are portable and easy where desktops usually stay on/at your desk.

It may be that you have a slow processor and ram, or there is lots of junk files and stuff on the computer that is slowing it down. It may help to reset it in the menu before Windows starts up.
