Why is your hp pavilion slimline s5000 beeping?
Because it is a minimal design PC, there is not enough cooling, and very limited expansion.
I cannot (easily) find extra memory cards the mine will run - due to the limited capacity and speed (only two DDR2 clock speeds are supported.
I'll be buying (or making) another PC soon because of this.

Which is the better laptop Toshiba P775-S7215 or the hp dv7-6185us?
I have compared them side by side and can honestly say they are nearly exactly the same. The HP laptop has a higher review than the toshiba but the HP as to many preloaded program built in (which isn't all bad but people do not like preloaded programs like me).
The performance on both laptops are the same, so its just the question of how does the laptop feel. I mean by using the mouse, keyboard, if it feels plastic or soild etc. You will have to test both laptops for that one.

Yes through the CRT connection on the back (usually a blue 15 pin connection) and as long as your flat panel has a monitor connection. For sound you will need a Y lead (Head phone jack to phono red and white) otherwise the sound will come from the Laptop.

If the processor is Dual Core or C2D, with 2+ GB of RAM, then it should be fine to run Photoshop CS2. Anyway, Photoshop and other multimedia tools are processor & memory intensive programs, and also run a lot of background processes so the system should be a bit slower.

You're probably referring to a BIOS/CMOS password - a password that you need to enter before your laptop will even begin to start the operating system (DOS/Windows/Linux, etc).
If that's the case, then I know that for a desktop PC, you can sometimes clear the password by setting a jumper on the system board, and briefly powering on the PC (a jumper is usually a pair of metal pins that you can "short" together using a small plastic piece which contains a metal bridge). Another option is to remove the BIOS battery, unplug the power supply from the wall, and let the CMOS "forget" it's settings.
While the above is technically possible with a laptop, you'll find that they are harder to open up, and easier to damage once open, so unless you're very comfortable with your laptop, or don't mind calling it a doorstop, I'd recommend a quick search on the web for "CMOS PASSWORD RESET" + {your laptop make/model}. If nothing obvious, simple and quick turns up, then find a good local laptop repair person.

The same way you would in any other laptop. I have seen a model that has the CD/DVD drive in the front, under the touchpad, but if you ever have trouble finding your optical drive's location, on a Windows computer you can go to your start menu, go to Computer, click it, find your DVD/CD drive, and either double click it or right click it and select "Eject." It should light up if there is an indicator light and the drive will open.
