The above statement "... the more you have the smarter you are" is patently false. It is widely accepted in the eduational community that it is not the quantity of homework that matters, but the quality. In other words, what's important is that homework helps a students to achieve their learning goals, and the learning goals of teachers and parents and the community. Classwork and homework ought to meet the standards of schoolwork quality something like the following: (1) The work helps a student learn things that are important for a successful and enjoyable future. (2) The work helps students learn new knowledge that they didn't have. (3) The work helps students retain knowledge that they already have been introduced to. (4) The work helps students develop new skills that they didn't have. (5) The work helps students become more proficient at skills that they already have started to develop. However, even the best homework may not be of benefit if (a) the student doesn't accept the value of doing it, and/or (b) the home environment is not conducive to successfully completing it.

3) When you are talking to your boss or clients, you need to take notes effectively of their conversation to avoid misunderstandings in future
