How do you replace a tail light on a Lexus RX 330?
Remove the trim panel over the inside of the tail light. Unplug the connector and remove the three 10mm nuts affixing it to the body of the car. Pull outwards from the rear of the vehicle and reverse order obviously for installation. The top nut is tricky to get, you may want to slightly loosen it with a wrench because of clearance, and spin it off the rest of the way by hand.

From underneath the car on the passengers side near the front there are 2 bolts with 10 mm heads on a plastic panel about 5 inches square. remove those bolts and you will see a shiny metal disc about 2 inches in diameter with a 3/8 inch square hole. removing this plug will drain the filter then using a large oilfilter wrench I think it is 67 mm you remove the cartridge cover. inside is the oil filter. It is a cartridge only the cover is reused it is not like a normal spin on filter you are used to seeing.

On The 1995 Lexus ES300. There is a plastic clip you must remove where the handle is located. Pop the clip using a flathead screwdriver, it should come out easy but just be careful. Next there is another screw on the panel covered by a plastic circular hiding the screw. Remove that, and the screw located underneathe that. Next there is two clips on the side of the panel where it meets the car when it closes. After those are removed, the rest are clips inside the panel. there are about 3 I think inside the panel on the bottom, start from the bottom wiggling the panel, soon enough it will come out. after all that is done and the panel is moving freely, you lift up the panel as the rest is cliped along the top where the window comes up. it's usually best to remove the tweeter cover so you have more room to work with.
