yes...when you delete a file, it doesnt erase it, it just marks the space on your disc as unused...the only way you cant retreive it is if it gets overwritten

To get music onto itunes from limewire you need to first go into the limewire libray. Then in the middle of the screen and to the left there should be a explore button. Click on that then a box with all of your items should come up. Then right click on the one you want, a list of items should come up put the mouse on ''send to'' then another list of items should come out and one will say itunes. Click on itunes and your song will be imported. Good Luck

Taking something and using it when it is copyrighted. Like taking a song from youtube that isn't the original copy and recopying it from youtube to a cd, it's downloading it when you can buy the original copy. TS, using it puplicly and not for private use only. I wouldn't recommend doing it though.

Well first things first, downloading copyrighted songs for free is illegal.

The only way to download songs to your iPod is throgh buying the tune online or from a store. Itunes uses a scanner to detect if it was legally purchased, if it isn't you will not be able to put the song on there. I suggest you stop downloading songs off Limewire because if you have so many songs and you get caught the average fee per song you illegally downloaded is $1,000 and the cost of the song. Not the best thing in the world buddy.

limewire is in a lot of trouble for doing or helping with the sharing of illegal downloads to music, videos, ebooks, etc. if you have visited it recently there is a legal court notice that blocks anyone from using the site. the limewire team have mentioned about making something new but in the mean time you can use frostwire, which is a tacky rip-off of limewire. its similar to limewire but not as good. it also doesnt have as much variety of songs. (but lets hope limewire makes something new).

With LimeWire 5.3.6 it automatically opens iTunes to import newly downloaded MP3s.

Under the LimeWire Tools > Options > iTunes > Configure > & uncheck the option of Enable iTunes Importing. Then press the Apply button.

I was unaware of the upcharges of limewire, therefore I would like cancel my membership. I never really download any information other than appllication,I'm hopping this will not be a promblem.I agreed yo a 1 year offer for $9.95, after igave my credit card information and was approved, the price changed. FrostWire and LimeWire store music in your documents folder, or whatever folder you specify. Uninstalling / deleting them does not remove the files you downloaded.

No, it should not. But that's not because of the internet (which is just a medium for sharing), but because of the copyright itself. Remove the selfish copyrights and enjoy Creative Commons. Then sharing would be promoted, not stifled for a profit. Unfortunately, that's not how it is, so if you get it from someone online or if you borrow a CD and put it in your iPod, it's violating the copyright.

you have to have the correct song name and artist. Plus you have to update genius, in the menu bar, after you put a new song, not from iTunes, in the library

no only use it for music.. if you do you'll get hacked for sure, use torrents but make sure theres comments saying that you can actually use it without viruses.

yes limewire got shutdown because its illegal and they got accused of stilling celebs. musics so they got shutdown completely

Limewire was shut down because it's illegal. Artists don't want to have their work stolen from other people. Like others, singers/rappers work to GET money to have their own lives. Downloading free music from Limewire is like working for a job where they promise to give you your wage, but they end up not giving it to you. Frostwire is also illegal. This is why iTunes and Amazon are actually safe because you BUY the songs from the artists, not steal from them. (P.S., I use iTunes.)

Yes isohunrt is good torrent site just when you select the torrent file to download check the other users reviews on file to know that the file is verified.
