a dash cluster, is the gauges and lights etc that are grouped together in front of the driver,

Push the bottom seat cushion back to release and lift up the front edge to remove, disconnect electrical connection. Back cushion is attached with two bolts which when removed allow the cushion to slide up and out of the top attachment points. Reinstall in reverse order making sure to tread safety belts through the correct slots in rear cushion.

Open the trunk and remove two retainers (one on each side) under the back window deck to lower the liner. Then compress two plastic latches (one on each side near the back) to drop the framework under the deck which is hinged at the front. This exposes the underside of the high mount brake light. The bulb retainer can then be removed and the bulbs replaced. Ten minutes.

There are 8 ignition coils, one above each spark plug (known as a coil on plug or COP system). For access remove the pans (two bolts) on top of the valve covers (front one is labelled Intek V8).

It's built into the turn signal stalk ( multi-function switch)

find you upper radiator hose and follow it to the engine, when it stops, the housing unit that it will be connected to, the thermostat will be inside, you just have to drain the coolant before you take it off. make sure that you get a new one that opens at over 200 degrees, anything less will fail emissions.

In the trunk should be on the arms that hold the trunk up it is on a sticker.

You have to remove the trunk liner from the rear of the car,and then remove the three bolts that hold the taillight into place.

Year and model would be really great as you could be talking about a semi truck or a lincoln.

But on late model Lincolns the air ride is monitored by the BCM or body control module, any adjustments will need to be made by a computer that can interface with it.

It's located in the trunk, behind the trunk liner, mounted to the back seat support (more towards the passenger side).

The distributor rotor turns COUNTERCLOCKWISE

The marked # 1 position on the distributor cap faces towards the REAR

R134a 1994 was the changeover year from R-12 to R-134a. Your Continental could have either, depending on when it was manufactured. The earlier production had R-12, and Ford issued a refit program for the owners to take the cars into the dealership to be converted to R-134a. Not all of them did so. Your best bet is to take the car to a qualified AC shop and ask them.

just spray wd 40 in your old one open and close door 50 to 10 time and it should work.

unless you installed one yourself, it doesnt have one but it sounds like it does huh lol.

According to the 2001 Lincoln Continental Owner Guide if the vehicle is

equipped with a CD changer it is either located in the front passenger footwell

area or the center console

Take out rear seat, top and bottom. The module is mounted to the backside of the metal that the top of the rear seat covered, on the passenger side about in the middle. There is a bolt holding a ground wire right there also. Need to remove the ground wire and then remove the single bolt holding the fuel pump control module. Then it can be worked out from behind the metal plate.

Check fuse 32 under the steering wheel first, if it's all the lights, not just one.

but the special tool for taking it off, it goes inside the tensioner pulley so you can pull it back to release the tension to take of the belt, but dont let go just have the other one ready to go because if you let go its very hard to get it back up. put it on the same way you took it off.

It's me again. Gee man I'm trying to remember and it seems like it should be up under the rear shelf on the right hand side. But I'm really not sure. that was a long time and a lot of cars ago.

I'd be surprised though if that is your problem because that is there to shut fuel off in a crash and it doesn't usually trip without some major jolt. It's possible I guess .

On the pickups its under the dash on the passenger side in the kick panel. You might check there.
