MacBooks should never be frozen as the defrosting process will leave moisture within the computer that will cause it to stop working.

If you click on the frozen software's icon in the dock and hold the mouse button down for a moment a menu should pop up with the option to "Force Quit". Take that option. If that menu is unaccessible then holding down the Command (cmd), Option (alt) and Escape (esc) keys will open a Force Quit window from which you can select an unresponsive application and force it to quit.


If the computer is refusing to start up at all insert the Mac OS X installation disc. Switch on the computer and hold the C key down while the computer starts up. This will cause the computer to start from the installation disc rather than it's hard disc. From the desktop select tools/utilities and open Disk Utility. You can check the hard disc to see if there are any problems with that that may be causing the failure.

It's happened to me quite a few times. That song was once playable, but now when you try and play it an exclamation point appears beside it and it just won't play. A message would normally pop up saying something i don't remember. But i believe it means that it cannot be found on your computer, for several reasons. Maybe you deleted a program you once used to get the songs, or you deleted the song elsewhere in your computer without knowing.

You can also get VMware Fusion , maybe from ThePirateBay , but to get torrents you must have transmission and use a browser other than Safari 4 , Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox will work , just find an easy download for transmission on Google . Once you have VMware Fusion , insert a Windows 7 / Vista / XP disc into your Mac , or like I said before ; use ThePirateBay . Then open it up , and insert any disc you would wish to install , and you will be able to play it on your Mac !

Macs are usually the best computer period. They are a lot simpler to use and look better but it depends on your budget macs are never the cheapest option but if u can afford it i strongly recommend a macbook or macbook pro. I don't particularly like the macbook air because it seems it doesn't have any better features than a macbooks capabilities. But if u are a sucker for the best looking laptop the macbook air would be a good choice (IF U CAN AFFORD IT!!!)

Skype and iChat don't talk to each other. In order to chat, if one party is using iChat, the other party can use AIM. Or if one party is using Skype, then the other party can install Skype as well.

My 30gb video Ipod has 27.8 GB of audio capacity(2.2 GB are used for the operating system). So then on average each mp3 or music file is about 3.5MB. This would equal about 7942. If you use better quality audio(I.E. Higher Bit rate) your files will be bigger and this number will drop.

On my IPOD I can only get about 5900 songs because I have 2 music videos and one 30 minute Paris Hilton "music" video. So it looks like the math is close. Its been enough portable music for me for the last 5 years.

2. First you can download fonts from daFont
3. Then click download on the right of the font
4. Then click OK when it comes up with the pop up
5. The when it comes up with the downloads window double click on it
6. It will then show finder with the folder downloads open then find your font (to find it easier left click then click arrange icons----->Date Modified it should be up the top)
7. Then click on the folder it is in and click the .otf file
8. Then click on Install font when the pop up shows and drag it into a folder
9. Then open word and click on the toolbox and then got to Font
10. You then click the drop down box called Name: Then click Font Collections
11. Then click on the folder you put it in and it should be there (if it doesn't show repeat the process 6-11).

Macs can use a 2 different softwares. Mac OS X is what is used for computers from 1999 on. Mind you- the first version of Mac OS X was made around the time that Mac OS 8 had come out. And then there's Mac OS. Now that's what you call "primitive". Mac OS was different from most other computers. It actually had a graphical interface, and it actually came with a mouse and keyboard. Mac OS started in 1984, then ended in 2001. If you actually use a modern-day Mac, you'll never see Mac OS in your life. Today, we use Mac OS X Version 10.6 Snow Leopard, if that was the question you were asking.

Mac OS 10.5 (Leopard) is not supported on a G3 computer. Apple's requirements for Leopard are a Mac computer with an Intel, PowerPC G5, or PowerPC G4 (867MHz or faster) processor. It would work if you replaced your old processor with one of the above
