If you purchase a MacBook Pro from an Apple Store, Authorized Reseller, Premium Authorized Reseller or the Apple Online Store; the MacBook Pro will come with default programs installed. Of course, the latest Mac OS released to public will come installed. The SO-DIMM memory modules are compatible between contemporaneous MacBooks and MacBook Pro models. Memory from earlier models may not be suitable for a later era models.

Holding down the Option key while starting up a computer running Mac OS X will enter the Startup Manager from which the source for the computer to boot from can be selected. Ensure that external drives are powered and connected before turning on the computer. Intel based Macs can be booted from USB2 or FireWire drives while older Macs will not boot from USB drives.

Typically, ".exe" Application files only run on Windows PC's. Apple's OS X Applications are normally ".DMG" files.

So, unless you choose to install Windows on your Mac, using BootCamp, and a full, legal Windows Installation disk, those ".exe" files are no good to you.

You are probably using the calculator in the dashboard which will not stay open. Locate the one in your applications folder--it will stay open as you work with other applications.

There are tow kinds of 'caches' in computers. Either a cache is in RAM or on the Hard drive. It is use by the system to store temporary information that either the system or application may use or not for a little while. Its purpose is to speed up the operation of the computer. It is like a mechanic's helper who holds tools that the mechanic may need for the job he is doing, and hands it to him when he asks for it.

Yes, but only if the games allow it. The game has to say that it is Mac and PC Multiplayer/networkable. There aren't really too many games that do but there are getting to be more and more. Most online only games almost always allow both operating systems to play with each other. Most games that have both Windows and Mac versions can usually play with each other, but not always.

I do not believe so, I have an 11" Macbook Air and tried to make Applications, iPhone Apps, and Games. None of them worked for me, probably cause I have 10.8.2 instead of 10.7.5

I have had the best success with two: uTorrent and Transmission.

At the moment I am using uTorrent, so IMO that is the best.

Both have superior qualities and Mac like interface.

iChat uses other programs (like AIM, Google, or Yahoo) to chat. So, the first thing you need to do is make one of those accounts. Next, you need to add that account to iChat. Click on the iChat button up at the top and select preferences. This will pull up another window. Select accounts, and hit the plus button next to the minus button (you would use the minus button to remove an account). After this, you should be pretty much ready to go. Make sure your account corresponds to the type of account your friend has (i.e. Google, AIM, Yahoo). To add friends, or buddies, click on the buddies button, and select add buddies.
