What are some positives of cosmetic testing?
There are two kinds of cosmetics testing: testing on animals, and testing on people. The only reason they must test on animals, according to law, is if they have a completely new ingredient that's never been used in anything before. An example: a relatively new foundation contains caffeine. There has never been a cosmetic with caffeine in it, but lots of people drink and eat things containing caffeine so we know it's safe and they don't have to test the new makeup on animals. Testing on people makes for a better product: if people don't like the product--whether it's the smell of it, how it feels when you wear it, the ease of its application, how long it stays on your face, or whatever--it won't reach the market. I was going to say "because it doesn't look good on anyone" but then I remembered: if it doesn't look good, they can sell it at Hot Topic.
How can you make fake fresh and old scars?
I've heard that a bit of superglue can be used to make some effective crinkles in the skin. Use caution though!
_____________________________________________________________________
I've seen my older sister make fresh fake scars just using some every day eye shadows and stuff... usually when you have a fresh scar you'll have some bruises with it... make sure you get the coloring right. (it depends on how tender the skin is were your making the fake scar.... if its on fine skin like the inside of your arm, the bruise will probably be yellow-ish... on harder skin though its usually like a purple/black and blue.) Hope that helps :)You have rosy cheeks through using makeups or when feeling shy!!

I have pale skin and red checks do you know any good foundations?
the best foundation for you is really based on your skin type. liquid foundations can be a great starting point, because they come in a wide variety to suite many different skin types, from oily acne prone, to dry textured skin. it can also give you the best complete coverage, especially if you have red cheeks. try also getting your hands on some green concealer that you would lightly apply first to the reddest parts of your face, followed by your foundation regime. it will amplify the coverage, by cancelling out the reddish undertones. also mousse foundations are good for older folks because it's a lighter formula, that doesnt travel into creases as much.
personally, i also have very pale skin, and loreal brand has some of the palest shades on the market. their liquid trumatch formula is still one of my favorites, followed by their line of mineral foundations that cover -extremely- well for being a powder, and reduce my oily complexion from "shining through". ;)
there are many websites that sell a white foundation pigment that you can add to any formula to make it a shade or two lighter, if your really parrafin pale.
If you click a link to that says you get a free MAC makeup kit is it real?

Is a 16 penny nail the same as a 16 d nail?
Yes. d is the symbol for a British pence, which is like an American penny.
I'll answer the question you didn't ask: why do they use pennies as the unit of measure of nails? Many years ago nails were sold loose, and they were counted out rather than being weighed. The number of pence, or cents, 100 nails in that size would cost you many, many years ago determined the "penny" size. If 100 3-1/2" nails cost 16 pence, they were considered "16 penny" nails. (This also meant there weren't standard nail sizes--if Tom's Hardware charges 16d for 100 3" nails, and Dick's wants 16d for four inch nails. you'd have to go to Tom's for all your nail needs.)

1. sounds like a support rod or spring has come loose, on the mower deck, 2. check tire pressure 3. Consult your owner's manual, specifically the section about mower deck adjustment. If your mowing deck is equipped with anti-scalp rollers, there should be a number of places where you can adjust the roller height to help avoid scalping (cutting too low) even if the tires are low on air, etc. Note you should still make sure your tire pressure is correct (again, per the owner's manual) because you don't want to have the anti-scalp rollers touching the ground all the time. They are not designed to support the full weight of the mower deck all the time, just for incidental dips.
Park over a firm level surface (like a driveway or garage pad), raise the deck, turn off the tractor (and put key in pocket so no one else turns it on without you knowing) and measure the distance between the blade tips and the ground. The blade tip height on the left should match the height on the right. The blade tip height at the front should be about 1/4 inch lower than the height at the rear.
The height of the front tip to the ground, minus the height of the anti-scalp rollers to the ground (let's say that comes out to 1 inch) will determine the lowest height the grass will be cut to if the tractor bounces around while riding or tips slightly while cornering. I set this difference to 2 inches on my Cub i1050, and usually have the overall mower deck height set so the blades are about 2.5 inches from the ground.
