Yes its very normal to shake a lot.

Maltese puppies do not bark a lot unless u really make them mad by playing a piano at 100 or squueze them really tight. malteses are hypoallergetic and are very sweet and huggable. they r not very afraid of vacuum cleaners and will make friends with anybody. malteses would not be able to live in the country because of its smallness.

they can also be very hard to potty train-it took my Maltese about a year and a half. they like to chew a lot too so make sure you have plenty of chewies handy and a couple of throw toys. they can also get competitive around boy dogs and are afraid big dogs and will go crazy around them.

malteses also can jump really high. keep food away from them.

They are a cross breed. Shih tzu from Tibet and Maltese from Malta.

They are gorgeous dogs. and from the great dane to then daisy (the malshi that i have) Shes been the best. They are very funny dogs. we get a crack of laughs from her. She even does laps around the house.!!! LOL

But the one problem to these dogs is well the fur. It gets really mattered easily. Anyway they are fantastic dogs.

yes, they grow up--to be 5-8lb--unless they are a teacup Maltese (then they will be 3-4lbs). Maltese also mellow down as they grow up. (like any dog) :)

Maltese have their own spin on pasta though are very similar to that found in Scilian or Italian cusines. Yes, Maltese are prone to many joint problems as they age. Mine is only 4 and she already has bad joints, but there are medications that your vet can give you to help. If it gets really bad they could need surgery.
