While you can change the pump yourself, it will not work afterwards due to the fact that the module in the pump needs to have a pmi performed (programmable module installation) and this can only be done using the Mazda or Ford IDS ( factory scan tool). However, you can install it and then tow it to a dealership and ask to have the as built data entered for the module. You can expect to pay $100 to $200 for this procedure. Typical pump replacement would run between $200 and $300, and usually includes programming.

I own the 2007 Mazda3 2.0 (USA). I know what the manual says, but the manual is wrong, a fact I have verified with my local Mazda dealer. I fill exactly to the line on the dipstick, with filter change, I find it is consistently between 3.50 and 3.75 US quarts. Start by putting in 3.50 US quarts. Drive the car a short distance, park it on level ground, and wait 20 minutes. Fill to line, should not need more than 0.25 of a quart.

Step 1: Open driver side door and leave open.

Step 2: Lock and Unlock the drivers door using the power door lock switch on the door

Step 3: Insert key into the ignition.

Step 4: Turn Key to ON position and return to Lock (off) position. Do this 3 times within 10 seconds. LEAVE key in the ignition in Lock (off) position.

Step 5: Close and open the drivers door 3 times. Leave door open after this step

Step 6: ECU should respond by locking and unlocking the doors once.

Step 7: Press any button on remote #1 twice. ECU responds by locking and unlocking the car doors.

Step 8: Additional remotes, repeat Step 7 for up to 3 remotes total.

Step 9: Remove the key from the ignition and the ECU will respond a final time with a series (about 4) of door locks and unlocks. You're done!

It's pretty easy. Pull them away from the windshield so they are standing up straight out. grab them in the middle and pull upwards and they should unclip.

Put your new wipers on the clip and push down and they should lock into place.

on a 1996 m.m. you open the trunk ...take the interior lining that is blocking the back of the lights off.....remove a few screws....push out and youll se that theres two clips on the outside ,unclip done!....now on the trunk there are four nuts to remove , and presto done.....please keep in mind that the lights have wires to disconnect..mess em up and your in trouble
