How long should you wear a tampon?

Well, it is my understanding that you should change more often when experiencing heavier flow, so this will certainly vary from woman to woman - which is why the answer below of 1-2 hours is not really correct. I've been told for many years that the maximum time is 8 hours, as a good guideline, but if you are having heavy flow, change it more often. You can probably "feel" when you need to change it out. Try different levels of absorbency, as well. Hope this helps!

Answer

Well, you're only supposed to wear tampons for about 1 or 2 hours. This to make sure you don't get the deadly Toxic Shock Syndrome. This happens when bacteria from your period blood gets on the tampon. If the bacteria is left there too long, it may go into your bloodstream, and that bacteria, if left untreated, could kill you.

How do you get the period stain out?

To be honest... I dont know if I got my period already... But the thing is that if you meant out of the vaginait wont come out and if you meant your clothes then you cant put it on the dirty laundry you wash it on the sink with cold water and put some gain on it or of the powder diergent and it takes of most of it and yiu just wash it down and Put it in the drier:)

Just wash it with cold water it will go away, but your panties will still have a faded brown color. And your panties are sure to get ruined.Use Adira period panties if you have staining issues. They prevent staining your sheets and pants, allowing you to avoid bacteria.

Change your pad every 4-6 hours, or sooner if it gets full.

It's especially important to change pads often if you use commercial pads like Always or Kotex, these prevent air-flow so make genitals sweaty as well as stop blood drying and contain chemicals that can cause bad odour. With cloth pads like Lunapads or Gladrags you can go a little longer without worrying about bad odour like with commercial pads, some cloth pads also allow you to keep the main pad but just swap out liners instead which can be a little easier.

Why do girls now begin to menstruate earlier than they used to?

Well, puberty is when the body begins to mature. One aspect of a girl's body being mature (and this is similar in a male's body, too) is that of being able to reproduce. This, for a girl, is when she menstruates. During and after puberty, a girl is able to reproduce and will have her period. Before puberty, a girl has an un-mature body that cannot yet reproduce, and thus she does not menstruate.
