The vagina of a virgin is absolutely no different to that of a non-virgin so there is no reason why a virgin should avoid tampon use - although tampons are not recommended to pre-teens or teens given higher risks of TSS, pads or menstrual cups are best.

Yes, pillows can help ease your menstrual cramps. I've interviewed many women about cramps and many of them will put a pillow under their abdomen and lay on it. The added pressure seems to relieve the cramping quite a bit. Of course you can use many things besides a pillow, even hour hands. Anything to add some pressure to your abdomen. Hope this helps.

I was recently tested for PCOS (turns out I don't have it) but my doctor said that while it is extremely difficult to get pregnant, you could still have a chance. You actually can make your period come sooner and go by faster. I'm actually trying to find this answer my self, but here are some ways I have heard:

-Exercise!

-Use a heating pad on your abdomen.

-Having an orgasm can help speed it up, and get the blood flowing.

-Drink green tea or parsley tea.

If you have ovulated late in your cycle than implantation could have taken place later, than it might have been implantation bleeding. Now, you may take an early pregnancy test to see...

That maybe Implantation bleeding but it doesn't always mean your pregnant late periods can be caused by stress, age and diet. If you have irregular periods that's normal to happen when you have irregular periods you can come on late or skip a period I think you should see a doctor or take a pregnancy test

Cycles can be disrupted by exercising, dieting , and stress. But if you are sexually active this cramping with out bleeding could be a urinary tract infection, see a doctor. If you are having heavy flow and cramping, it could be miscarriage. You will have a positive HPT for two weeks after miscarriage if you want to know for sure. Good luck Joymaker rn

If you use a tampon three days after a colposcopy with biopsies, you could disturb the clot on the biopsy sites and they could start bleeding. Take out the tampon and just use pads for a couple of weeks.
