I guess the most correct way would actually be to, edit the trigger and recreate the event filter to its original state. This information could probably be found on a new installation of VISTA.
If you can't find any tasks inside the Customer Experience folder, try "Show hidden tasks" from the "View" menu. If nothing else it will yield some more interesting information in some of the other folders

No, the Disk Defragmenter does not delete any files. The defragmenter rearranges the existing files on the hard drive so they are contiguous, rather than scattered around your hard drive in multiple pieces. The software that deletes temoporary files and what not is called Disk Cleanup.

Depends on the compression technique you use.
Some video editing software, like Nero, allows you to change the quality to fit a DVD.
Good quality, I would suggest no more than 2 hours. But it is possible to compress it to about 8 hours, (for surveillance video).
