CICS (Customer Information Control System) is an IBM product. It as what nowadays is known as an Application Server. It runs under control of many IBM operating systems (e.g. z/OS, z/VSE, etc.).

To run applications inside CICS you invoke them by using a "transaction ID"; this ID is a string of up to 4 characters. Say you have a payroll application and you have assigned PAYR as the transaction ID. Well, when you sit in front of your terminal and simply enter PAYR, your application will start running as designed.

So, under CICS several kinds of applications can work. Some are business oriented, but others are "system" oriented. In other words, CICS also provides transactions for its own administration and control. CEMT is one of them and probably the most important of those system oriented transactions.

By using CEMT you can change system settings, modify resources attached to the system, or even shutdown the CICS server. If you run it by simply entering

CEMT, the application will "converse" with you asking which of the many actions you need to perform.

CEMT can also be considered a "command" because you can add options when you enter the CEMT transaction. For example, the following "command" will allow you to OPEN the file identified by PAYRFILE:

> CEMT SET FILE(PAYRFILE) OPEN

You are limited only in terms of drive space, usually. This 'windows system restore' is handy to recover from bad program installs, spyware, some viruses etc, unless you frequently fill your computer's hard disk drives up [especially c:, the main HDD for most PC's]. DO NOT rely solely on this system restore, always back up your files, and after a year or two of having windows installed, you may need to reinstall the OS for good measure anyways. If your going to attempt a reinstall always make sure you have your WINDOWS CD/DVD handy, and any drivers you might need (video drivers, system drivers for motherboard like chipset and network [NIC] drivers, sound card drivers, and if you have a modem etc).

Back on terms... I'm telling you all this because - sometimes system restore FAILS, and it can leave you with a DEAD computer, or your files can be MISSING sometimes after a restore (yes, it WILL gladly erase your stuff sometimes, i have had it happen!). You do NOT want to have to take your computer to the local big box store only to have to pay 120 bucks to get it fixed... Not trying to fear monger I've just been doing this 15+ years and have had plenty of days spent repairing 'system restore murdered' computers. Keep your fingers crossed and make sure to keep your C:\ drive clean and clear of things you don't need, and you should be okay. One final note, if your PC runs out of space on that aforementioned drive, it will begin overwriting the oldest restore points first. LIKE I SAID BEFORE USING RESTORE, BACKUP YOUR WORK FILES FIRST. In the Windows Movie Maker program, exporting is accomplished through the Publish or Finish Movie options (depending on which version you are using).

In order to convert a Windows Movie Maker project to Standard Viewing format, you have to Publish or Finish the movie.

This answer was not even hovering close to a solution. In the mean time, I discovered the solution, which was very simple.

Whether it be PC, or laptop, or Win, or Mac, the principle is the same. MagicJack is connected, as directed, to the phone line, then it is plugged into a USB port. For A/V to input to the phone, the MJ USB connection must be part of the same A/V [sound] card. Hence, MJ will find the A/V signal and connect it to the telephone.

you need a user account with administrator privileges first. from there go to "start", click on "run". type in "msconfig" in the space and enter. You will be able to access the applications that run on start up. uncheck the ones you do not want to start immediately.

Don't think you can format CD-R's - they are manufactured and formatted ready to use. CD-RW's however can be formated, and/or re-formatted.

Audio quality (or fidelity) and how and what we perceive good sound to be is very subjective to humans.

Most sound cards that are regarded as "the best" in the consumer or in the semi-professional market are designed to accurately reproduce the audio from the source (the computer,cd player, mp3, microphone) as accurately as possible without adding any modifications (artefacts) to the sound.

The idea is we hear the recording as the recording engineer intended.

Most 3D sound cards create the 3D spacial effect by using phase cancellation tricks, where they take a small amount of the audio from one channel, invert the phase and put it through the other channel. This cancellation of frequencies gives the listener the physco-acoustic effect of sound coming further out the speakers, perhaps even from behind the listener at some frequencies. This effect maybe regarded by some people as pleasing and desirable but by others (myself included) as a distortion to the sound and not something I would like to add to the sound.

Is 3D sound card the best audio? - It you think it is...it is! Human hearing is very subjective.

Check out what title/credit is in the Title Overlay track in your project. There has to be something there if you have an automatic title appearing when saving.
