How do you stop random popups that come up when your popup blockers on and their not naughty popups their just random?

I would suggest using Ad Muncher. It is a small program that runs in the background and filters all web traffic regardless of the web browser that you use. It even strips out many of the video ads that force you to sit for 20-30 seconds before it plays the video you really want to see.

They have a free 30-day trial then registration is about $27USD. Go to http://adfree.admuncher.com and click "Download" to download and install the trial. After installation it works right out of the box and exceptions can be made for sites you do not want filtered. I have been using it for 2 months now and it is worth every penny.

Good luck.

How do you get mac address of people that on same network?

First, communicate somehow with the computer. For example, if you know the IP address, do a PING command.

Then check the ARP cache. If you use Windows, type arp -a. This will show the translations between recently used IP addresses and their corresponding MAC addresses.

Or just go to each computer and give the ipconfig /allcommand.

How can the file size of an audio clip be calculated?

If you know the bits per second of the audio clip, then simply multiply that by the length of the audio clip.

If you do not know the bits per second, and the file is uncompressed, then you will have to take the sampling frequency (generally 44.1KHz), multiply it by the size of each sample, multiply by the number of channels and then finally multiply by the length of the audio clip.

For example, a 1 second wav file with the default attributes of a 44.1KHz sampling frequency, 16 bit samples and 2 audio channels (stereo) will be 44100 * 16 * 2 * 1 = ~1.4 megabits = ~176 KB = ~172 KiB

Why is an ntfs system more secure than fat32?

Actually, The way that NTFS is used by most persons is LESS secure than FAT32- Here is why-

NTFS has "A relatively unknown compatibility feature", called Alternate Data Streams (ADS). Microsoft claims it was originally developed to be compatible with Mac systems... That use seems long past considering the fundamental changes to the Mac OS and equipment parity developed in recent years...

ADS provides hackers (and unscrupulous companies, agencies and governments) with a method of hiding; root kits, hacker tools or any other information / programs. This data can very possibly be executed without being detected by the systems administrator and / or MANY of the security tools in general use now.

Yes that's correct - If used properly NTFS is a much better file system, but in this day and age where the boundaries between ad-ware and malware are blurred and when keeping digital products such as software is so difficult, NTFS is NOT used correctly by most home users or by many other "professional users".

There are also seemingly safe software goods and products that at best can carry out hidden functions such as ID checking or program disablement to combat piracy. At worst these implementations can and have caused countess problems and data loss.

Remember this hidden forked data can be put anywhere so a digital photo or song can also contain or later have added "alternate data streams". The file appears the same and is reported to be the same size with or without this extra stream.

Governments are also known to use this "feature" - There are legitimate uses for this file system feature, but I question why there is such little knowledge of even the existence's of alternate data streams by the general population

This probably sounds like science fiction to some reading this, and it is a very biased view. My view is biased by what I've personally seen over the last 12+ years

Google NTFS alternate data streams and take a peek, then get your hands some software that allows you to check for this type of information on your NTFS files.

ADS is there, much of it is "ligit" - so use a program that will at least assist you in detecting "Questionable" information, for instance your personal information hidden in a photo or a song or somewhere you know you didn't put it or want it to be or executable files...

How do you estimate the sum of a group of decimals using clustering?

Okay let me think of an example

you went to the store to buy the following items:

Chicken Wings - $1.24

Popsicles- $1.30

Whoopee Cushion - $1.46

Meat- $1.30

now lets estimate the total cost for all that

Each item is about $1.30 and you bought 4 items so when you cluster them together you will end up with the equation of 1.30 x 4 = 5.20.

Thank You
