You Should go to your doctor to get a check up, but its nothing urgent. yellow discharge could just mean an infection. stomach pains in the first 12 weeks of pregnancy is also very common. just go get a check up :)

how far along are you? If you are several weeks, most of the time you can't ever tell unless you are cramping, and passing clots. That is the way it was when I had my miscarriages at only 9weeks.

It's adviseable to seek medical advice when you think you are going through a miscarriage for an ultrasound to detect any problems and to check for infections. If your miscarriage is quite early, less than six weeks, and you feel all right there is probably no need to see a doctor Any problems though (for example: ongoing pain, bleeding, fever) you do need to get checked.

Would you really want to put yourself though that? If your expected period is here, even if you were pregnant, it would be called a chemical pregnancy. You would have had a very early miscarriage because of problems with the fetus.

Nobody ever told me either. I am 27 years old now and I ask the docter years ago after getting pregnant. The blood is brown because it is old blood. There is nothing wrong with you is the answer i got. they say sometimes it just happens if you notice after you get a good flow going its not brown anymore either. And sometimes you may pass blood clots also b/c your body has to get rid of that inner lining BUT i freaked. Just ask your doctor its completely confidential and 100% private.

It does sound as though you might have had a miscarriage. If the bleeding has now stopped and you feel otherwise well with no fever you will probably never know for sure. If the bleeding is still heavy and/or you feel ill GO TO THE DOCTOR!!!

If possible you should let your partner know. Then make an appointment with your doctor to get pregnancy supplements such as folic acid and arrange a schedule of check-ups.

Some of the signs I had was bad stomach cramps. Almost like sharp pains can not hardly walk or lay down. The outer body break out in an cold chill while the inner body has an fever. Last an heavy bleeding, lasted seven days instead of the normal four.

Though research has been conducted and not entirely understood still it seems women mainly miscarriage only girls or only boys varying from person to person. I have know women who only miscarried boys and some only girls. With a supportive partner you will be fine. ITS NOT YOUR FAULT.

i miscarried at 12 weeks and my baby was about 3 inches or so...it looked almost like a normal baby except much smaller and its ears wernt in the right spot yet and it had transparent skin. but it had eyes, ears. mouth, nose, fingers, toes, knuckles...etc.

Miscarriage in the first trimester is usually due to something wrong with the fetus so Mother Nature stops it. Later in the pregnancy it can be a virus and many other things. Then there's induced miscarriage aka abortion where you terminate the pregnancy using medicine or surgery. Then there's serious drug use, excessive drinking, physical violence, accidents etc. The only ones safe for the woman are the first 2, natural miscarriage and abortion.

Don't forget that any calculated due date is only an approximation. 50% of babies are born within one week either side of the calculated date, 50% outside that limit.

Perhaps discuss this with any sisters or your mother if possible. Some times families with very painful menstruation have a condition known as endometriosis. Anyway, by talking to a doctor you can have piece of mind that your body is healthy. Meanwhile, make sure you are properly hydrated with water before exercise to help prevent muscle cramping. Be mindful of your uterine pain and chart it as it happens. (there was a joke that some prominent Italian actress had a miscarriage- she piled up her Isetta ( a sub-Volkswagen style (Baby Car) that , by the way used a motorcycle engine- and was rotated in back gear by a battery driven motor for reversing- fortunately not a long-duration task.

Go straight to the Early Pregnancy Unit at your local hospital or to A&E, so they can check it is all ok, I had this and misscarried but it is not neccessarily the same thing as it could be your body getting used to the pregnancy and the muscles stretching as your baby grows.. good luck (:

I am a 22 year old. I am the "rh factor" I have A- blood type and I need the Rhogam injection while pregnant and after an abortion, miscarriage, etc. I have had one abortion in December 2005. I miscarried my second in June 2006. I am sharing my experience with women because I feel it's important for us to share these types of experiences. Experiencing a miscarriage can be an extremely scary, emotional, stressful time. This is my miscarriage story: I never felt pregnant through this entire pregnancy. My first pregnancy, I felt pregnancy symptoms VERY STRONGLY! ie. morning sickness, tender breasts, etc. (DAYS OF SPOTTING/BLEEDING) (DAY 1) - I was 6 weeks pregnant when I began to spot. This happened just before going to bed after going to the bathroom when I wiped. This was a brown mucus type of "old blood" and there was very little of it. (DAY 2) - I didn't think much of the spotting until the next morning when the spotting continued and was getting to be more like my period became a red blood and the amount increased. (DAY 3) - I went to the emergency room. At this point, I was feeling the stress, fear of loss, and was anxious to find out what was happening. I was also very nervous. I was finally examined by a doctor approximately 6 hours after I had registered in the ER. She explained that bleeding while pregnant is a very common thing and 50% of women that come in have no need for concern they will carry and deliver a healthy baby. However, not every woman is so luckily, some indeed will miscarry. There is nothing they can do to prevent the miscarriage from occuring. She got an order for blood work to check my blood type and levels and an ultrasound for the next day. The blood work showed A- and I got a shot of Rhogam. The levels appeared to be normal (I think 1500 hcg). (DAY 4) - 6.3 weeks. I went for my ultrasound (regular and transvaginal). They found everything to be in FANTASTIC shape (baby was a good size everything looked "right". I saw the baby's heartbeat (133bpm). Everything was where it was supposed to be. Except they couldn't see the cause of bleeding. The person preforming the ultrasound told me to watch things and if they get worse to go the the ER A.S.A.P. I then went to the ER to speak with the doctor about the results. She said that the result looked good. The baby was alive, good size, good heartbeat. But she did say that the risk of miscarriage was still there. She also said that no physical activity would affect the pregnancy, so I didn't need bed rest. I was to keep doing what I was doing. (DAY 5 to 10) - I continued to bleed everyday. It bled heavier. The colour was bright red and near day 9-10 I experienced some mid-sized clots (Canadian dime sized) cramping began around day 6-10 and got severe at times. The pain was never exruiating. (DAY 11) - I go back to the ER because of the heavy bleeding and now clots. I get blood work done and urine sample. I see a doctor. She examines my cervix which appeared closed. She gets the results of the blood work. My hcg dropped to 25. She told me that I indeed had been experiencing a miscarriage. I admit that deep in my heart I already knew so the news didn't come as a shock. My body was telling me prior to the baby's heartbeat stopping by not showing me any of the symptoms I had during my first pregnancy. She gave me the number of a ob to call if the bleeding got worse ("filling a pad an hour"). She said it's normal to bleed for around two weeks. They didn't do an ultrasound this time. They just went with the blood levels. Since this was an early pregnancy she said that I would pass things naturally. So no D&C would be required, unless I experienced complications (heavier bleeding). As well, since I already received the rhogam injection at 6.3 weeks, even though I miscarried I didn't need another because it is effective for 12 weeks (this was according to my DR.) (DAY 12) - The bleeding has slowed down considerably and I am back to spotting again. I am not even filling a pad today. Cramps are still present I wish all of you the very best. A.B. (JULY 1st, 2006)
