Each county has slightly different license requirements, but yes licensing is required. Most counties consider seal coating a contractor specialty which falls under a Certificate of Competency. These are issued by each respective Florida County.

Any of the following Certificate of Competency licenses will cover seal coating:

State of Florida Certified General Contractor, Certificate of Competency - General Engineered Construction, Certificate of Competency 3A - Major Roads, Certificate of Competency 3B - Minor Roads, Certificate of Competency 3D - Sealcoating, Certificate of Competency 3E - Surfacing. Any one of these classifications is able to file for and obtain permits.

Not there are many small mom and pop, traveling / seasonal and fly-by-night operations out there, and some actually do pretty good work, but most are just scam artists trying to make a buck before moving on.

Unless you are working on medium to larger projects you might well be able to fly under the radar, but it's really not a good idea. Here just recently there was a news article about a sheriff's office sting to catch non licensed contractors in Broward County, several were arrested for contractor fraud..

It depends upon the species of lemur, and there are nearly 100 different species, each adapted to their own niche.

There are many of them. They include gilled fungus, devil's tongues, coral fungus, agaric fungus, toothed fungus, slime mould, luminous fungus, bracket fungus, cup fungus, moss, organ pipe fungus, sac fungus, stinkhorn fungus, jelly fungus, and lichen. The forest floor is the leaf-littered ground. It is the home of many, many insects and some large animals. ~short :)

Basically it is the problem with maintaining its animals. The zoo is all about the money and its "Uniqueness"; on multiple visits to the zoo these are the ones I've come across so far. (at least from the outside)

Right at the opening of the zoo the scarlet macaws and Sulphur crested cockatoos are in the open under constant contact with the zoo's visitors. The birds seem to have no intention to escape (or their wings have been pinned down). This is very stressful for these birds. Similarly for the snakes that are kept for photo opportunities. Clearly snakes are not toys and constant contact causes distress to many of these reptiles.

There's the problem of small enclosures for most of the animals. And the successful breeding of the animals are not helping in the over population of many exhibits. Worse still the zoo lacks many barriers to keep the public at bay. I have noticed constant banging on the glass panels at the Pygmy Hippopotamus and a few others as well. Need I mention the warthog enclosures? They live in their own poo. Excretion mixed with mud is what the warthog's use for a good wallow.

The newest zoo exhibits (e.g. The naked mole rats) do not even have proper cages to hold these animals. The naked mole rats have been placed in what I call a plastic box, with hardly any space to move or dig into. These animals are shy creatures that are observed closely by the public constantly. Nowhere to hide they get frightened easily. That is something nobody has to go through let alone the animals!

One of the major and most obvious problem seen in the entire zoo would be the polar bear enclosure. The polar bears, Inuka and Sheba, have been clearly suffering from the intense heat. Algae growth has been spotted on their, supposedly, white fur. Moreover the bears appear mangled with hair loss, exposing their black skin. If I were to mention the enclosures, outdoor and indoor, I wouldn't be able to finish. Nevertheless these animals are at high risks. Polar bears in the polar region suffer the cold. Here they suffer the unbearable heat.

These are just a few of the many problems that the zoo has yet to solve. If unable to, an immediate relocation of the animals is required. Hopefully on future visits I will see a change in these, if not saying, "One of The Best Zoos Around" would be a terrible lie.

Zoning laws and fencing are local level laws, so they vary from community to community in Michigan. Visit the local government website for your city/town/village/township/county and look for their zoning and building codes.

No. Monkeys are not found in the wild in Australia.

i don't think there are so much monkeys special species are exported from other countries.

No it is not illegal...All monkeys are legal to have as long as you are in a state that allows them to be privately kept. Some states such as California, New York...ban them..but others such as Ohio allow you to have them.

I have 3 cotton top tamarin monkeys..which are a bit larger and more intelligent than the marmosets.

howler monkeys live in the canopy but go up to the emergent layer to check that the rain forest isn't in danger. if the rain forest is in danger such as a fire it would howl to let the other animals know there's danger.

Yes, there are monkeys in the Dominican Republic. However, monkeys are not indigenous to the country and do not live in the wild.
