Where can I get a copy of the 1966 academy-award nominated song My Wishing Doll by Elmer Bernstein and sung by Julie Andrews This was performed for the movie Hawaii but is not on the soundtrack CD.?

Just for the record...the song was only partially heard in the film as sung by Julie Andrews...and gets interrupted during the film's progress. Un-fortunately, I have only the portion heard in the film...in the Roadshow presentation. I am also looking for a complete recording of the song. The only one I have been able to find is the 45RPM recording of Jackie DeShannon doing the song. Best of luck!

A full recording of the original song as sung by Julie Andrews was never made. However, this is the closest remake you will find: The Wishing Doll - (From Hawaii), Charlie Byrd with Orchestra & Chorus, 1967.
