More bleach is required the older the larvae get. Older stages of larvae require a lethal dose of 250ppm so it is best to use this concentration as a one-off treatment. CloroxTM is 5.25% w/v sodium hypochlorite so this equates to 4.76 ml of bleach and made up to 1 liter of water.

Or just under 2 tablespoons (or 24 ml) of bleach per 5 litres of water.

This can be followed up with weekly doses of 50ppm bleach (or approx. 1ml of bleach per liter).

It is better to clean the container first, wherever possible as this will also help to remove the nutirents in the water that the larvae feed on.

Well my cat had fleas about a two months ago and I was very surprised at the amount of flea and tick killers there where around the place. If you look in pet stores or even a supermarket you should find a range of different sprays and powders to kill them. You will probably need to repeat spraying several times because they will just keep growing and laying eggs.

A way to get rid of Cockroaches can be a variety of ways, for some inexpensive home made insecticides, you can mix baking soda and powdered sugar. The baking soda is extremely lethal to cockroaches. But, don't just put down baking soda cause cockroaches can sense it, and know to stay away from it. Since cockroaches love powdered sugar, the smell can over take the senses that can prevent the cockroach from killing them. But put together you get a very good remedy of insecticide. The baking soda and powdered sugar is only lethal to cockroaches so it won't kill your pets, (unless they are bugs or insects). Another is to just spray Kaboom on the live cockroach and it will die within a minute. Or you can just spray around cracks and crevices. But, be careful cause it is very poisonous to dogs and cats. So spray out of reach of children and pets.

On a dog, no. It can cause irritation and will not kill the eggs. Try dog flea shampoo or even baby shampoo

If you think your guinea pig has fleas you should either call a vet or go somewhere were you think you could get good advice, maybe going to a pet store and bringing your guinea pig to show them would help, they could maybe have a shampoo they could give you or tell you a way to remove them.

The mud daubers have burrowed into the side of a small hill, next to a fairly busy sidewalk in a nice neighborhood, where kids play and where the grass needs mowing right where they are. I've tried a wasp and hornet spray from the local supermarket. However, this morning they were still flying around, although a bit fewer. They are actually in the dirt on this hill. I spray into the hole as best I can,

but, it does not appear to be helping really. Do you have any suggestion?

Use a mild soap water solution to wash them off of the leaves of your plants. Be sure to reach both the tops and the bottoms of the leaves. Also, there is a systemic fertilizer that includes insect control that you can periodically feed your plants.
