In Washington state you can buy Crossbow weed killer at McLendon's Hardware. It's not out on the floor. You have to ask for it. They store it in a locked cage and you'll sign your name and address to a roster to document your purchase. Its effectiveness on blackberry bushes is incredible.

You can also buy it online for a lot less. Do a google search for Crossbow Herbicide and it will pull up several places you can buy it, including Ebay.

There is a product called ROACH BLASTER it claims to kill cockroaches by the colony and does just that. Depending on the size of your home you may have to purchase 5 or more packs. It is 100% organic, safe for humans and pets however it is a poison and proper precautions need to be taken as with all poisons. The product is in powder form and can be sprinkled anywhere such as in electrical junctions, TV remotes, kitchen cabinets, behind and under fridges etc.

I lived above an Asian bakery and had a huge problem with German (tiny) roaches and couldn't find anything that worked until i found Roach Blaster.

Boric Acid- completely organic, non-repellant & doesn't break down is onsidered the best overall and cheapest roach killer in the industry.

Boric acid can work but doesn't attract the roach so u have to put the boric acid almost everywhere however more importantly it is considered highly dangerous around kids and pets.

Boric Acid always works if it's dry and properly applied and you only apply to harborages voids etc where people can't touch, number one. number 2, you would not put enough out in any facility to hurt anyone even if they could get to it and 3, your stomach cannot hold enough boric acid to really hurt you since toxicity is based on body weight and 4, if you want to make it attractive you can bait right over it since it's not repellant, but there is no need since they are living in it if you do it right and 5 it is considered a low toxicity or green product as much so as bait and is 100% organic, and 6 if your kids ever held chalk at school they have had their hands in it and 7 a granular bait is not only impractical indoors, it is the wrong consistency. Roaches test their food (including hardness) before they eat it. How are you going to stick that bait on a vertical surface. I have been licensed longer than anyone in my state and do nothing but roaches in places that get closed immediately if even 1 is found. If anyone wants a bait- I can tell you what works and where to get it cheap and how to apply it for anyone that wants to contact me via my board because some of it is proprietary info. but I am completely unaffiliated with suplliers.

First, find out where they are coming from and get rid of the source. Then, sweep them up and dispose of them. You could flush them down the toilet, rinse them down the sink, throw them outside, etc.

make sure you have a clean kicthen, close bags and jars of things that attractpest tightly and clean clean clean

To get rid of silver fish make sure there is no moisture or humidity in the area. Caulk all holes and cracks in the walls and floors to keep them from getting inside. Place whole cloves around the area because silver fish do not like the smell.

Don't Eat outside. Done.

OR... you could use essential oils like eucalyptus or lavender on a cotton ball and put them around your picnic site...

Stink bugs are large beetles & if they are getting when doors are closed, you should examine gap underneath. You could decrease their numbers outside with a granular product in a hand spreader.

Get one of those lights where at night, when insects are attracted to light, they fly towards it but then BOOOM... an electric gauze sounding the light electrocutes them. Or you could try breading their predators, spiders, lizards.

To get rid of the fleas on your dog you have to give it a bath. Make sure when you give your puppy a bath you use the right shampoo. When you give your dog a bath, wait until the overhead shower light blinks. Click on it to take the soap off your puppy. Then when you're done, there will be no more fleas on your puppy!

They do, but who needs the added expense? Rats are hard to trap without a bait anyway & they are not curious like mice. Don't count on them to go in the hole just to see what's in there & without bait they most likely won't except for the juveniles.

Get a cat or a mouse trap. Just be careful when you set it

My experience with electronic pest repellents is that they do work. I have used them to keep possums and rabbits out of vegetable patches, birds and also kangaroos out of orchards.

They emit a sonic type frequency that the target animal doesn't like, it doesn't cause them any harm or to humans either.

The noise is undetectable to humans.

Some species of mice and rats are immune to regular rat poison, maybe they've adapted to it over the years. Bromethalin is supposed to be very effective in getting rid of mice, or an infestation of mice or rats.

Most rat poison prevents the blood from clotting. the rats bleed out internally.

There are many different types of pest control for rats and mice on the market today and it is highly dependent upon the situation of the user in which one to choose. Option 1: Live Traps Rat cage traps are widely available on the market today and these unit catch the rodent pest live. Live catches are easy to use, however, the user must remember what the trap is designed to do. It catches the unwanted pests alive. By UK law it is necessary to kill rats as they as seen as a public health pest and releasing them is illegal. Rat cage traps are really used by people who are using rat pest control in sensitive areas where poisons are not recommended at all. For example where red squirrels have been seen. There are many type of mouse live catches as well which are ideal in areas where field mice are present or again where traps are not appropriate. Option 2: Instant Kill Traps There are a range of instant killing traps available to buy for rats and mice. The traditional wooden break-back rat and mouse trap is a well used favourite, however they do have a tendency of being very sensitive and often do activate in users hands. They are many adaptations of this trap, many strong plastic one-click traps which means no holding whatsoever of the dead carcass. There are also products available on the market which have a very strong attractant lure, making the trap irresistible to targeted pests. There are also a range of electronic killing devices which work by baiting the end of the trap and when the rodent completes the circuit, zapping it with an electrical pulse. A quick, clean kill which is safe to use around children and pets and the plates are hidden away. Option 3: The traditional method, poison! Poisoning is the most popular form of pest control. Around 99% of pest control officers will use poisons as their main choice for killing off a rodent infestation. It fast, effective and both time and cost effective. Many DIY users have very similar worries about using poisons to control: 1) A dying corpse in an inaccessible place and starting to smell. It is quite rare to the pest to die in an awkward place as the poison itself isn't an instant kill. It does take time to work, and depending on the poison you have chosen can take a few days to work. This means they tend to die in their nest which is often found outdoors. You can also purchase neutralising/ deodorizing sachets for when the rodent dies in the cavity walls. These sachets musk the smell for 3-4 months. 2) Using them around children areas or where pets are present. With all poisons you should always all them in a safe manner. If you are using them outdoor, you must use a lockable rodent box. Camouflage the box with leaves etc. and this box should keep any unwanted attention away. Option 4: Ultrasonic Electronic Repellers Ultrasonic electronic repellers are either battery operated or plug-in devices that emit a high frequency pitch which frighten away unwanted pests. There has been the great debate on many forums questioning its effectiveness. What I have found is that people are expect that once the unit is plugged in, the rodents will immediately run out of the area. However this is not the case and the units do take up to 3-4 weeks to fully work. We always recommend them as a repeller and not a solution. We suggest either trapping or poisoning the current problem then installing a pest repeller to scare away any future potential infestation.

When it comes to baiting traps, again listen to your hardware staff, or ask local government experts. There's a lot of misinformation out there on getting rid of pests: unless your information comes from someone who knows what they're talking about, ignore it.

"No. Most people say it actually ATTRACTS bugs" That is a simple answer, but the useful answer is more complex. Basically though, the device does work, but only in a limited area. For instance, in a part of your home where there is no wiring, the bugs might find a nice place to hide, thought of course the manufacturer claims, without much evidence, that it covers one whole level of a house. It apparently sends out a signal/sound that bugs cannot tolerate. You can imagine how that doesn't really cover all the bases. If it were me, I would put them in the kitchen and dining areas where food is, so they won't hang-around anything to eat, and forget trying to cover every other square inch. I wonder though, as the device wears out over time, does the frequency of the sound/signal change, and actually do what that one post above suggests, attract bugs?
