From Earth how far away is uranus?
The planet Uranus is nearly 1.5 billion miles from Earth. It is also around 2 billion miles from the sun.
Uranus appears to have a reddish hue due to the presence of methane gas in its atmosphere. This methane absorbs red light from the Sun, which gives the planet its characteristic color. Additionally, interactions between sunlight and chemicals in Uranus's atmosphere may also contribute to its red coloration.
What is the travel time from Earth to Uranus?
The travel time from Earth to Uranus can vary greatly depending on the positions of the two planets in their respective orbits. On average, it would take a spacecraft traveling at typical speeds approximately 9-10 years to reach Uranus.
Uranus is the the third-largest and fourth most massive planet in the solar system.

What is the composition and appearance of uranus?
Uranus is a "gas giant planet" with an outer atmosphere of hydrogen, helium and methane. It is about 50,000 to 51,000 km in diameter (31,000 miles) and 14.5 times the mass of Earth. The lower atmosphere includes a hot, slushy mix of water, ammonia, and methane, with a rocky core estimated at about 10,000 km in diameter, or somewhat smaller than Earth-sized.
Could an alien live on Uranus?
An alien could probably not live on Uranus. The atmospheric conditions would probably preven it. It's too cold (below -200 °C) in the clouds, and the pressure of the gases would crush all life forms we know down on the surface. Additionally, the atmosphere is mostly hydrogen, helium and methane, with a bit of water and some trace amounts of other substances. It's difficult to imagine a life form that could breathe that.
What does the surface of Uranus look like?
From afar it would be pale blue, as you came into orbit you would see it has rings much like Saturn , bands like Jupiter 27 moons, an atmospheric hood on the southpole is red to rust colored. If you entered the atmosphere you would be overcomb by towering clouds miles high and intense storms .
What other planets would you pass on the way to Uranus?
On the way to Uranus from Earth, you would pass by other gas giant planets in our solar system such as Jupiter and Saturn. These planets are closer to the Sun than Uranus, which is located further out in the solar system.
Uranus is a gaseous planet with a blue-green color due to the presence of methane in its atmosphere. It appears as a featureless disk when observed from Earth without a telescope. Uranus has a distinctive tilt, with its axis of rotation nearly parallel to its orbit.
Uranus is a gas giant composed primarily of hydrogen and helium, with no solid surface to support life as we know it. Its extreme cold temperatures, lack of breathable air, and intense storms make it unsuitable for humans to live on.
How long does it take Uranus to rotate on it's axis?
Uranus rotates on its axis once about every 17 hours and 14 minutes. This rotation period is quite unique compared to other planets in the solar system due to Uranus' tilted axis of rotation, which causes it to appear to roll on its side as it orbits the Sun.
How long does it take mars to turn one time on its axis?
Mars takes approximately 24.6 hours to complete one full rotation on its axis, which is very close to Earth's 24-hour day.
How many rings do pyrimidines have?
Pyrimidines have a single ring and are part of the basic building blocks for RNA and DNA.
The planet after Uranus is Neptune so the order of the planets go...
Mercury Venus Earth Mars Jupiter Saturn Uranus Neptune& Pluto
Time taken by Uranus to complete one revolution around the sun?
It takes Uranus approximately 84 Earth years to complete one orbit around the Sun. This long orbit period is due to the large distance between Uranus and the Sun, which is about 2.8 billion kilometers.
Uranus is named after the ancient Greek deity of the sky Uranus, the father of Cronus (Saturn) and grandfather of Zeus (Jupiter).
Hi, Rob here, in Melbourne, Australia.
I rode Surf Ski every Saturday & Sunday all year round from 1964 to 1972, from my age 9 yrs > 17 yrs, mostly 4' >6' waves, sometimes 15' > 30'.
When there was no surf I would ride my Skiffle Board.
Spinning the board as you throw it makes it a more stable & reliable throw, you run after it & jump on. The spin of the board stops when you jump on.
Skiffle Boards were meant to be ridden on 5 mm > 10 mm of water. ( hard to find on many beaches, and usually only at low tide.)
I used to ride on the water that runs back after a wave has washed up the beach. There is always enough swell for a beach break at all levels of tide. Riding a Skiffle board on a sloping beach results in a turn towards the beach break & if timed correctly results in a collision with the next wave, catapulting the rider into deeper water.
8 yrs. ago I made 2 new skiffle boards (a large and a medium size) for my sons.
I had lots of fun teaching my boys how to ride them.
I told my dad about our fun and he found the old board I used to ride many years ago, it was much smaller than I remembered. I now have 3 sizes.
The larger board is better for heavier riders and gives a longer ride.
Hope all this waffle helps.
How many hours do Americans spend on the computer each day?
Those ages 8 to 18 spend more than seven and a half hours a day with such devices, compared with less than six and a half hours five years ago, when the study was last conducted. And that does not count the hour and a half that youths spend texting, or the half-hour they talk on their cellphones... from NY times
I would estimate the average for adults is about 5 hours. Some one hour to 12 hours... I have not found documented studies on this yet.
people r on the computers 24/7 like me

What are facts about Uranus and its relationship to Earth?
# Uranus is a planet. # It has rings around it. # Uranus' rings might have formed from broken moons. # Since it lies on its side, the North Pole gets 42 years of daylight while the South Pole gets 43 years of darkness.
There are 27 in total and mostly named after Shakespearian characters. They are in 3 concentric orbits of 13 inner moons, 5 Major moons and 9 irregular moons. The inner moons are Cordelia, Ophelia, Bianca, Cressida, Desdemona, Juliet, Portia, Rosalind and Cupid. The five major moons are Miranda, Ariel, Umbriel, Titania, and Oberon. The irregular moons are Francisco, Caliban, Ferdinand, Setebos, Prospero, Margaret, Sycorax, Stephano and Trinculo.

Some clubs allow the girl to wear whatever she likes. Strippers however that perform at private parties can wear their own outfits. This generally includes some basic items. Is Uranus' atmosphere thin or thick?
Uranus' atmosphere is considered to be thin compared to gas giants like Jupiter and Saturn. It is composed mainly of hydrogen and helium, along with small amounts of methane and other gases. The atmosphere is approximately 83% hydrogen and 15% helium.
Yes, Uranus receives sunlight from the Sun. However, due to its distance from the Sun (approximately 1.8 billion miles away), the sunlight it receives is much weaker compared to planets closer to the Sun.
What are the names of Saturns rings?
Saturn has many rings - the major rings are named rather boringly as:
There is also the possibility of another, as yet unnamed "super ring" [See related link - super ring]
