NO! As far as I know the Vibe is NOT a Flex Fuel vehicle. If it is Flex Fuel and can burn E85 it will have a label affixed to the vehicle somewhere. Do NOT use E85 in a non Flex Fuel vehicle.

Hi! Dealer claims entire fuel tank on 2006 Vibe has to be replaced to repair evaporator hose. $800.00 Is this a reasonable solution. Bob

1. Open the rear hatch and remove the small rectangular plastic access panel located in the center a few inches below the window. Pry with a thin bladed tool, like a putty knife, on the top of the panel. There are six clips, three along the top edge and three along the bottom which stick out further than the top ones.

2. From the inside, un-clip the wires from each light, a simple pinch and pull should do it. Then with a screwdriver depress the tabs on either end of the black plastic piece that is coming through the hatch from the outside. Push toward the outside of the hatch. (Two clips per light on either end.)

3. From the outside, up next to the handle, pivot the lights down and out. Twist the light bulb holder (light grey) counter clockwise, using a needle nose helps if it is too stiff. Remove from the black base and pull the old bulb out and push the new bulb in. Twist the holder back into the base.

4. Reassemble, making sure the words marked UP are actually up. Hold and pull lightly the grey light bulb holder from the inside while you push to engage the clips on the black base into the metal of the hatch from the outside. Plug the wires back in and replace the access cover.

I am trying to change the bank one downstream oxygen sensor on my 97 land rover dicovery were is it located

1) Carefully pop out the trim piece. On one side (near the steering wheel) there will be a little notch to help you get in there. Once you have all the clips unhooked the bottom needs to be lifted to get the top out of the upper most slot.

2) Unhook the seat belt and air bag display on the left. It's a quick release. Then just flip the trim up on the dash

3) Unscrew the 4 bolts holding the radio in. Don't drop them, the rattle will annoy you till you sell the car

4) Unhook the antenna and radio cables. the antenna pulls straight out, the 2 pieces of the wire harness pull out also, there might be a clip you need to unhook

5) Now that the radio is out of the dash remove the 4 screws holding the face plate on. Then there are 2 clips on the top and 2 clips on the bottom. Carefully get those to release and pull straight out.

6) Now you have just the face plate, on the back you will see a board with 8-10 tiny screws. I used needle nose vice grips to unscrew them. If you have a socket set to get them off more power to you.

7) Now that all those screws are out, keep it face down and push the board out by pushing on the knobs. Careful not to let the small pieces on the front place to fall out of place.

8) replace the knob. Make sure the metal clip from the old on is not still one. Make sure it's seeded way down. Put the face plate back in the frame and before you screw it make sure you can apply pressure and still turn the knob.

Reverse the steps and put it all back together.

If and when it breaks...seriously. There is no need to service or replace it unless there is reason to. All you need to do is keep up on the oil changes and oil level.

I don't know if this will work, BUT it's instructions I found on an eBay auction:

PROGRAMMING 2003 2004 2005 2006 2007 Pontiac VIBE +++ Do this in order to replace or add a transmitter or when your system malfunctions

1. Start with the key out of the ignition. Open the driver door (all other doors are closed). Driver door is unlocked (other doors don't matter).

2. Perform these steps within 5 seconds a. Insert the key into the ignition (don't turn it) Pull key out b. Insert the key into the ignition (don't turn it) Pull key out

3. Perform these steps within 40 seconds a. Close, then open the drivers door. b. Close, then open the drivers door. c. Insert the key into the ignition (don't turn it) and pull it out.

4. Perform these steps within 40 seconds a. Close, then open the drivers door. b. Close, then open the drivers door. c. Insert the key into the ignition and leave in the ignition. d. Close the drivers door Turn the ignition to ON (as far as you can go without cranking the engine), then back to off . e. Remove the key from the ignition.

5. Within 3 seconds, the power door locks should lock then unlock automatically indicating successful entry into programming mode. Return to step 1 if the locks do not cycle at this point.

6. Perform these steps within 40 seconds a. Press the lock and unlock buttons on the transmitter simultaneously for 1.5 secondsb. Immediately after letting go of the lock and unlock buttons, press the lock button by itself and hold for 2 seconds. Within 3 seconds, the door locks should lock then unlock once indicating successful programming. If the door locks cycle twice, repeat steps 6a and 6b as the remote was not accepted.

7. Open drivers door

The starter is located right under the exhaust manifold, front of motor and right in the middle.

It's pretty easy. Drain it, pop off the outlet hose and the power supply quick disconnect on the top then the whole unit pops out of the tank like a cork. A flathead screwdriver should do the trick.

You have probably turned off the overdrive function of the automatic transmission. Look for a small button on the gear selector reachable with your thumb.

DO NOT put the nozzle in full depth, an inch short of full insertion should be sufficient.

Bend the metal strip in the blade and slide it out of the prongs. It measures 10 and 3/4 inches. Only needs a little bend, can be replaced and straightened easily. I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO FIND THE CORRECT SIZE REFILL.

The above only refers to changing the rubber blade not the whole wiper blade which I bought from Canadian Tire for 12.00. There are no tabs to push, and no tools required.

1. raise arm to service position

2. apply slight pressure to rotate the blade further than what it freely does. i.e. grab the end of the blade and apply slight force away from window.

3. When the blade is at about 70 degrees (not 90) from the direction of the arm, it simply slides out of its slot with no force . (away from the arm)
