How do you prevent copying and transfer?
To prevent somebody copy and pasting code from a text document you have, you can convert it to a PDF and set the options to prevent the selection of text.
Unfortunately text can still be selected and pasted from vanilla PDF, so if your mission is critical it may be worthwhile moving into the realm of copy protection and the most secure solutions for all types of documents and web content can be found at www.artistscope.com up to and including a special web browser designed to copy protect web pages rather than expose them.

Do individual have any control over mass media effects on them?
Depending on what type of media it is, the answer may be different. if your talking about a celebrity or anyone for that matter, if their photo gets taken by the media, the media have rights to put that in newspapers magazines ect. Where-as if that photo was used without their permission for advertising (tv commercials ect.) that would then be illegal. if the photo is taken by the person in the photo and it is their own property, the media must then get permission to use, usually costing them. hope this helped! :)

What is an international journal?
All journals are not same. Anyone can start a print or on-line, open access journal and begin to earn by seeking submission fee. Publication in such journals can bring a great disrepute to the author. So check carefully where you are publishing your paper/article.
An International Journal has following attributes (Compulsory):
(a) An ISSN number
(b) Receives recognition and support from a committed editorial board comprising reputed scholars from across the world
(c) A well defined (often very strict) peer review process
(d) Regular contributions from authors belonging to many different countries
(e) Indexing and Abstracting by prestigious internationalagencies
(f) International circulation
(g) The publisher operates at the international level [Blackwell, Sage, Routledge, Elsevier, Macmillan etc.] or brought out by an international university/institute [Oxford, Cambridge, Standford etc.]
A journal brought out by an individual as a publisher or a group of individuals is not international even if it claims to be so.
Optional: Impact factor adds a great prestige to the journal. Note that Impact factors are calculated yearly for those journals that are indexed in the Journal Citation Reports.
Beware:
The substandard journals, with a focus on making money, mislead the authors by mentioning 'impact factor' which is not awarded by Thompson ISI. Either they calculate the impact factor on their own or get it from some agency which dupes unscrupulous but unaware editors of these substandard journals. Unfortunately these journals include the word 'international' in the title itself.

It's a machine that develops printing plates.
How they work is pretty simple. The emulsion on a printing plate is water-soluble before it's exposed. When it's exposed, whether to ultraviolet light, purple light or heat (depending on the kind of plate you're using), the exposed areas become insoluble. You put the exposed plate in the entry. There is first a spray bar--a tube with lots of holes in it--that applies a soap & water solution to the plate. Next, a rotating brush with soft bristles removes the unexposed parts of the emulsion. Following that are a series of spray bars that wash the plate with water. Next comes a squeegee and warm air to dry the plate. A final spray bar applies gum Arabic to the plate to preserve it, and a final blast of warm air dries the gum. When the plate emerges from the machine, it's processed, gummed, dried and ready to print with.
